Want to rage about your latest loss? Use the QQ thread. If you whine in GD, you'll get warned. ===== + Show Spoiler +If your [Stream] thread was moved to the general TL Stream subforum (aka SC stream land), find your thread and PM it to me and I'll move it back to LoL territory. I can argue with staff that moving a non-SC thread into a SC subforum is just asking for that thread to get buried.
- Neo, Dec. 15 2011, 6:33 KST I have admin approval. I'll be moving LoL streams back to the subforum. Stream name will be based on Summoner name. - Neo 7:07 KST |
She has two skill shots and a leapx3 on her ult. So she sounds like she'll be pretty fun. I'm still worried that if she's too assassin-y she'll get nerfed into the ground so I'm hoping that she ends up being played as a more standard AP carry.

I would assume 1:00 AM PST because that's when the servers get restarted.

Servers are only being restarted to fix an issue server side that could lead to potential down time. Not for Arhi.
Arhi is supposed to be released when they get the update in Korea. Ask loco.

I seem to get roughly 6.3k every other week, so it fits in perfectly with the new champion every other week, except for i find myself expanding my rune page instead .

I'm actually really surprised they didnt touch his passive with his patch. His W was problematic as it did silly amounts of damage, but his passive is still ridiculously strong. Definitely one of the strongest passives in LoL imo

Or can only 1 bolt hit each champion even if there's only 1 or 2 around?
I think it's only 1 bolt per champion for the ult. Look at the descriptions for Fox-Fire (All 3 can hit one target) vs the Ult:
FoxFire
Ahri releases three fox-fires. After a short delay they lock on to nearby enemies (prioritizes champions)
Spirit Rush
Ahri dashes forward and fires essence bolts at 3 nearby enemies (prioritizes champions),
So FoxFire just says "enemies"; it also gives the damage numbers for when multiple hit the same target. Spirit Rush states 3 enemies specifically.

also, Veigar seems pretty decent now with the reduced mana costs. I can actually keep up in lane or even harass now.

Need to see cooldowns still, that kit doesn't scream OP but if the Q is super spammable...

It's not that Rammus is bad, it's just that Skarner is so strong it's funny everyone wants to ignore him to ban Rammus. Triforce is definitely NOT core on Skarner. It's a lategame damage item. Rushing Triforce makes you squishy, which is exactly the OPPOSITE of what Skarner is supposed to be. If you want early game damage, get Guinsoo's Rageblade. Then you can use that 2k gold you saved on defensive items. Sheen proc is almost too good to pass up. Skarner has (tied for) highest base damage in the game, so the proc is better on him than almost anyone. And MS + W and Phage with his Q is insane, no one ever escapes. Rageblade is good DPS if you can have 100% uptime on the target, which isn't always. Just my $0.02
Your Triforce proc will do a whopping 10 more damage at level 18 compared to most other champions. Core item.

To be fair, Triforce proc does ~40 damage more for Skarner than Caitlyn .

Played Veigar a bit, he seems pretty decent. Sion was bullying me in lane but I can farm well enough and play safe, knowing that I'll one-shit him down the road. I walked over a Malzahar (ran Cleanse).
He seems like a pretty good pick, unless you can shut him down entirely he IS going to get to a point where he can insta-gib two squishies no problem.

She can't really control who her W and R hit in the middle of team fights. It seems like it'd be entirely possible that both spells could focus everyone but the champion you're trying to gimp in a big clustered team fight. I'm gonna assume it'll target the three champions that are closest to you which would help ensure you hit what you want. Still, I can just foresee all of the charges on your ult & W hitting the enemy jungler, bruiser, and support while missing the AP and AD carry lol.

Why does Riot keep hitting the Utility tree with the nerf bat? It's already weaker comparatively than it was before the mastery change and yet they still removed perseverance for this strength of spirit bullshit. Considering no one other than supports really go that deep into the utility tree, why on earth would they change from 9% health/mana regen on squishy (for the most part), mana-dependent champions to health regen based on maximum mana, especially when most of the current supports have heals. I don't see strength of spirit being worth it ever, especially considering how far down the tree it is, in addition to the fact that they eliminated a crucial mana regen mastery and potentially weakened health regen (numbers dependent, haven't taken the time to work it all out).

Perseverance was one of the weakest things in utility?

Great for him! Lets all hope for LoCi being next! ;D

On December 14 2011 16:04 R04R wrote: Perseverance was one of the weakest things in utility?
I agree, it wasn't an amazing mastery but all they did was make the situation worse by removing the mana regen component, usually crucial on supports, and replaced it with health regen on a class who for the most part have heals.
Edit: It's more of the principle that they're moving it away from helping supports with the masteries rather than toward.
