If you think they should remove true damage why not remove all types of damage and only have like physical damage, so dumb that you have to buy both armour and mr if you want to reduce physical and magical damage. Buying hp effectively reduces true damage(except for vayne, which right now can be reduced with dodge). Changing most of the true damage to physical/magical damage would barely affect squishies and only make the shit that builds tanky harder to kill. League of Bruisers. | ||

It causes tremendous inconsistency since so few characters have it. There is no good HP option to be built by carries, whereas MR and Armor can be picked up in a normal build by both AD ranged and mages. | ||

This may be true for AD carries, but I don't think you can say RoA doesn't count as "a good HP option". | ||

You already have a check for tanks, hybrid damage. If you're letting a tank get farmed to the point of being an issue without true damage then there's a huge issue in the play, not a need for a mechanic like true damage. It's like "oh this vayne was way too strong, nerf" when you let her farm bt, ie, pd and cleaver. Kind of your own fault. Also tanks are made to be precisely that, tanks, they're supposed to be able to take a lot of damage. | ||

Except, at some point a vayne will get whatever items she wants, at which point dealing true damage or not doesn't really matter that much vs most champs. Tanks are not made to be able to take a lot of damage, they're made to take damage and disrupt the enemy team, but right now they also deal a lot of damage. There are no pure tanks in this game, maybe some champs like amumu when they dont build any AP. As for letting tanks get farmed, having abilities like alistar ult or exhaust has nothing to do with letting champs farm. | ||
