I checked the summoners code and there is nothing that went against it yet I was banned cause I was reported over and over again by super butthurt people that can't take being called out and hence will never ever be decent at this game.
But it really shows how bad the tribunal is. I didn't get banned for breaking rules, I got banned because the people that operate the tribunal is the same people that are terrible players that will never be able to be called out. you should consider sending this in a ticket to see if a rioter would look over the case again. that'd be really unfortunate if this was all that happened though, because people need to learn to look at themselves and their shortcomings before they can improve
they wont do anything... i got 3-day ban a year ago, and i sent a ticket asking why ive been banned... (i might raged in some game, but Ive never cursed or been racist in any game, and I think I have better behavior than most of the players I've faced in the game, I have only 1 leave of 1000 games I've played)... i mean, like If i was banned, the 50% of the community should be banned too.
then pendragon told me :"sorry i cant give you the reason why u've been banned, its only 3-day ban, so it should not be a big deal"
And after that I kept playing with same behavior and style, nothing happend LOL
ps. actually a council gave me a hint that "I might played with a Riot employer or something"

Its like any voting system - it has its flaws & there are cases where people get punished when they shouldn't. But the concept itself isn't bad. And imo if we feel that the tribunal isn't doing its job well enough its more of a reason for us to start voting in it ourselves when we can. if the good level-headed members of the community won't vote in it THEN tribunal is useless - but then we can't say its the system's fault because its just a tool for the players to decide what should be a punishable offence. Its like the situation in india - half the educated people whine about the bad politicians but when elections role in they don't actually go to cast their votes. saying it has its flaws is an understatement.
It only punishes 3 things. Leaving the game, feeding and rude behaviour. You can troll so hard without doing any of those things.

As Player it´s not your duty to be good at the game or even try to improve. It´s your duty not to diminish the other players fun. That is what it comes down to, all the rules can be summed up as "don´t be a dick".

It's perfectly ok to force a loss for your team aslong as you don't swear while doing it, it isn't however ok to carry 4 other people and swear because your back hurts.
Riots stance is ridiculous. it's as if your bullies at school beat you up every day, stole your money and spat at you and you go to the principal. He then tells you there is nothing he can do about it, on your way out you bumb into another student making him spill out tea all over his shirt and he goes; "Fucking hell, watch it you cunt" and that guy gets expelled.

There's 9 people per match who can report you, observe next time you get to score screen how many instantly left it and then count how many times you yourself bother to make a report and that 40 is starting to look pretty damn big number.

You've been banned a fair share of times, and you recieve ~40 reports each time? Considering that I only ever saw ~10 matches or less in each Tribunal case, that means you got ~4 reports per match? So basically your whole team?

LoL is supposed to be fun. I want to play with people that are fun to play with. Not with people that are annoying and that force me to /ignore all because all the other players will talk back which is just as annoying when I just want to play.
So I support a policy of handing out warnings/bans to people who are annoying in a significant amount of games. And "significant amount" is a value around 10%, not some generous >50%.
Tbh from those posts you made here I can imagine that you are not just "slightly annoying" in those games.

Take a good dose of reality. Being "annoying" IS the offense. The whole purpose of the rules and punishment systems is to keep people from being "annoying". The ignore feture is a bandaid, it just keeps people from getting MORE annoyed. The idea is to incentivise behaviour that ideally would make ignore pointless.
Shure there can be people that overreact - that is why reports are being reviewed in the tribunal instead of an automated system of "X reports = ban".

Winter map is banned in rank games, according to a red post (phreak maybe? Can't remember.) 50/50 on regular/winter in normals, and user choice in customs.
The reason cited for Winter not being allowed in ranked is because it makes certain particle effects harder to see.

What? Every player doesn't break 1 rule every game, all you have to do is try to win and not flame people in chat...not that hard. Not sure if you've ever done the tribunal but just about every case that comes up the guy is either blatantly feeding with troll items (unused oracle first item f.e.) or spouting racial slurs and swearing in chat. Not that hard to avoid doing those.
