If this were the case, then it would not be possible for Janna to interrupt a Galio ultimate with her own, because she would get taunted before she could cast.
Except I'm pretty sure you CAN interrupt a Galio ultimate as Janna.

Well, I better get testing then. I don't know janna's ultimate radius, but if it is bigger than Galio's taunt radius then it is possible she can interrupt

he seems like a jack of all trades type character with a focus on one of his abilities. I dig the amount of utility that he has and his W looks brutal if used correctly.

How would you beat Yorrick as Irelia? The one I'm fighting is obviously dumb, he's only spamming abilities w/o harass nor csing well nor pressure under turret, nothing. But with a cloth+5, armor runes, he still hits like a truck, totally retarded, and there's absolutely nothing I can do, be it to trade, beat his sustain, or just sustain myself.

build vamp scepter after philo then wriggles. Also, max w first if you don't do that already
you should be able to heal faster than he can hit you for.
edit: another alternative is to buy level 2 boots and red pot at level 6 and try and straight up kill him (if you have ignite).
If all else fails, just CS and call for jungle ganks

The cloth won't do anything. You may want it for the potions early but remember is e (which is his spam) does magic damage. Grab your null-magic (that's for your your merc treads anyways) early and maybe a philo stone. That should almost keep you alive. But really, it's one of those really tough counter lanes. Just never get yourself into that position.

Brush control is key against Yorick, and if he wards brushes, you get pinks.

I maxed W and didn't make a philo, he'd still hit me for 300+ by launching all 3 ghouls if I wasn't turret hugging (base damage+the time it takes to get back to tower). Granted he started with 21 bonus AD at level 1, but by 3-4 he would just burst me, and autoattack whenever I'd try to heal back on minions, shrugging harass thanks to his sutain. I got out-potted long before he ran oom.
After that there's some other considerations, like the Shaco camping my tower and my jungler not able to capitalize on their 4v3 on the rest of the map, but by then the damage was already done. I'm running armor yellows and a mix of AS/ms on quints.
I could almost never outsustain him, since the slow on one of the ghouls (and the way they fuck up your pathing, real rage-inducing there) just allows him to run back whenever E's stun wears off, and patiently heal while punishing every cs you could try to get.
Edit : about bush control, I agree with that (and knew it already), but since he just spammed and pushed the lane from the very beginning, I didn't get the opportunity to stop the lane near my bushes.
On a merrier note, I really love Viktor. Looks like an utility monster that'd very well against bruisers top, kinda like Swain/Ryze/Kennen, perhaps more the former two for the tanky part. The way his E and R are used makes it look like Rylai'd be awesome on him for that.
Deep, heavily rewarding positioning, skillshots... I think I got my first day 1 buy there.

The only person I have found that actually destroys yorick is tryndamere. Nasus can handle him decently though since yorick has low kill potential.
Basically the key vs yorick is to just grab someone who is capable of farming defensively. Going an offensive top against yorick is just asking to get your face mashed in.

What's your method of dealing with games where champselect screams OH GAWD TROLLZ OH GAWD.
Think of 1-2 people who ramble on spanish, the obvious ME NO SUPPORT lastpick and where you just smell your teamcomp will be utterly retarded.
My usual approach is to grab some early game dominator (since they work well even if someone decides to lane with you for some reason) and try to gain some kind of momentum to snowball. Stuff like Pantheon. Sometimes it even works. =D
Anyone else got stuff that works for him in those spots?
