Granted our team was fucked so it was me and Garen bot lane, which means practically a guaranteed kill if I land my grab, but even with a standard bot lane he seems like a monster.
Seems like his core is RoA, Frozen Heart, Banshee's? You end up as a super tanky, strong damage CC bot with an amazing chase/initiate. Do people build Manamune on him? Philo if supporting? No that's a really really unsuitable idea. + Show Spoiler +But if you had to support Blitz.. Faire+3+2 opening, then get Philo, Sheen, Aegis, Mercs, then idk whatever you can. Banshee or Randuin or something. Started regrowth and I played somewhat aggressive and forced a lot of trades, some where I'd win some where I'd lose but it eventually got her oom/out of pots. Once I had wriggles I never had to leave lane and just kept forcing trades to blow her mana.
Hm. Why would you open Regrowth on Lee Sin? You don't make Philo, and if you want Wriggles then a Boots+3 or Cloth+5 works better.
but but but, mana gibes me hp like singed rite? so i build roas and AA's all day rite?
edit: i have to note that reverie is pretty sexy on blitz too, cdr + hp + movespeed active? yes plz. With w on you move soooo fast :D

I haven't had any success vs Lee Sin as Irelia, but I only played the match up once. I think my biggest problem was trading at the wrong times.

I have never gone Pantheon vs. Riven and lost my lane without getting camped by mid/jungler. I typically end up substantially ahead in terms of gold and levels. Problem is that without taking time to spam 1v1s, most experience in matchups is such a small sampling that it could be considered anecdotal, so maybe I've just been vs. derpy Rivens, who knows? likewise, i'd play it to learn unless you play solo queue all day and spam the same champion, its unlikely that you can get comprehensive knowledge of any given matchup because you can change skill orders, summoners, runes, masteries and so can your opponent too many possible "match ups" even with the same two heroes

I have yet to lose to Irelia as Lee sin top - even though I do all kinds of stupid shit in lane.

Then ofc we require that these 1v1s must be recorded in the form of VODs so that we may all be enlightened .

I build it into Warmogs after Wriggles eventually, and I was on a "try not to spend so much money on pots" kick after the patch nerfed them. It's probably safer/wiser to start cloth+5 than regrow+1

i thot most ppl did vamp scepter openings on LS, is that out of fashion now?
edit: assuming jungle, which, now that i think about it, may not be the case
|
You don't even really need wriggles vs irelia with that W. Boots3 is a good opening on lee.

yeah, that was my bad for not reading the context.
i would prob do boots or cloth, and if u really feel like u dont need all 5 pots, then grab a ward. i've never played LS outside of the jungle tho, so idk for sure

Is Jax viable top anymore ? I never see him and wonder how to play him, but he seems so out of fashion :/
|
Gunblade nerf hit him hard, he was considered op for a while but only certain people played him, just fell out of fashion then.
|
Jax is still strong don't need to op gunblade to be strong.
|
yes 30-0-0 is the only way to play jax now.

I've never had trouble with this matchup, lol. your sustain makes his look like a fucking joke and you itemize damage + defense against him so much easier than he can vs. you. are the irelias that you guys play against maxing Q/E and like, trying to actively trade pre level 7 or something? Irelia is not rocket science, so fucking easy to just sit around for 7 minutes and then rape everyone.

if your going to play jax, teleport is basically mandatory. he can't win many lanes 1v1 straight up and you'll find yourself needing to back before 6 probably. He's good at pushing lane then tele'ing in for a 5v4 bot though. needs kills to become strong
|
I used to think lee sin beat irelia until I just got bullied around by one building like ninja tabi phage and dorans shield and that's before people discovered wriggles on irelia, or before it became popular, double gp/10 was popular then. Lee sin probably can farm fine against irelia because he has so much annoying shit to use with low cd and no cost but the 65 mana EW trade does so much damage and heals irelia back from whatever burst you have through 140ish armour.
|
i still freakin love jax. beats the shit out of everything and has some of the coolest skins in the game. the gunblade nerf hurt though...
|
how would you open as jax? Do u rush for gunblade/rageblade? Or wriggles?
|
Open cloth5 on jax, get tabi+wriggles and you should be fine vs most solotops. Gunblade after, you don't need wriggles vs everyone but it's great vs a lot of the melee laners. Also free ward. Lvling W on jax is quite good vs anyone who's melee because it's 20mana @ all ranks unlike Q which will drain your mana.
