Mercenary doesn't sound as bad as Sage IMO (though sage is only 1 point), though sage may be hilarious for lvl 1 fights

Is there anything you could meaningfully do with Wealth? Seems like you'd just get an extra pot out of it. I mean, Doran's +1 pot isn't bad, but idk.

You could start Regrowth + 1 Ward as a support, making regrowth a slightly more viable starting item..

Even if you could, I think the slightly better item start is outweighed by the fact that you spend 6 mastery points for pretty minimally useful masteries.

BTW what felt stupid in this patch preview was that Riot once again started to use the "less passive game" argument (they said that nerfing CV is going to allow for more ganks and less passive gameplay, too bad if it will allow for more ganks then laning will be more passive because the lanes that are getting ganked are usually the lanes that play aggressively...)

It's been said before, Riot just uses the ambiguity of the term "passive gameplay" to do whatever the hell they want. Strong jungle creates passive lane play. Safe lanes creates passive jungle play. Whichever way they want to change things, they can always say "PASSIVE GAMEPLAY".

I get one game from 1600, and then I tilt. How do you guys deal with tilt? Assuming you can't take a break and are mid game.

I give myself a 3 game losing spree before I take a break. Anymore than 3 and that streak turns into a 7~ game losing streak.

If you're carrying over drama between games then you shouldn't be playing games back to back.

I laughed when they said Sona stood out as the best support. She's definitely good, but I boggled that they thought she stood out more than Alistar.
I also thought it this was humorous:
"This is a tournament patch, we don't want to blindside our players."
2 minutes later.
"We've fully revamped masteries."

Always play with a drink of water nearby. After whatever makes you tilt(probably involves death, if not find a safe spot for a few seconds) take a nice big drink, deep breath, and type something calmly to teammates. Make your positive statement ambiguous so it doesn't sound like you're assigning blame, like "they can make mistakes too guys, stay calm and play well game is still winnable."

I like the minor change to Kat, should be awesome, considering I just got her. The Sona change was pretty necessary imo. Her poke is so strong early game, it's probably the best from level 1-6. (Also, try out AD-Sona (w/ triforce) it's pretty fun).
Hmm, no nerf to Talon or Akali? so silly, they need to hurry up and find a fix. Hopefully after tournaments are done, they'll start putting more nerf/buffs on characters.

As far as I can tell, Sona is getting nerfed because EU has just started to discover harrassment as support, and Sona has been the support that was used to promote it.
Pure "metagame" fix imo.

I mean, I do end up having to pee a lot cause I drink a ton of water, but it's not some preplan to reduce tilt between games.
The other method is to kind of stay in a state of rage but just get quiet and focus on your play and your play only. Obviously you still see other people and what they do but you just don't care what they are doing right/wrong. But I stopped doing that because I was still getting 'mad' at a game, which is silly outside of anything but a truly competitive environment. Shake used to joke about my silent mode though, cause I'd stop talking on skype for a long period of time, which is a huge contrast because I'm a very chatty player from my fps days(others who played them a lot will get it, just a ton of stuff to communicate).

they better fucking refund all the IP wasted on dodge runes since they plan on phasing it out completely from the game. That's ~7.3k IP right there just for yellows
