just farm his minions and build defensively
after 30 minutes your Q will be 9000 and after like level 5 his harass does nothing through your lifesteal on his ghouls

how are you speccing? Yorrick's damage makes me lol when I spen 20 Armor from runes, 0/21/9, open cloth + 5 -> CDR boots -> Glacial Shroud and just Q on every CD. I'd level E 2nd in case you need to shove the lane back to buy at points, but nasus's sustain is strong enough that he should crush Yorrick IMO.

I played against a GP as Irelia who did this to me. I gave fb, but I bought wriggles and was able to pull ahead after I got Hitan Style leveled up.

I dickbutt Trynd with Nasus and Jarman and do the Irelia winning the lane thing where it doesn't look like anything's happening and then you're level 9 and suddenly the other guy loses all their health whenever you decide to use your abilities on them. Also, standard anti-melee casters like swain, ryze, rumble and karma fuck him up pretty good.

Yeah, I don't really have the runes for Nasus yet, need armor. I opened Doran's shield usually but cloth + 5 would work out better.
Only hit 30 recently so all my IP goes to runes, I should just give up and spend actual money on champs -_-

I hope you had been saving your IP, but if not the 10 win IP boost should help. Here's what you should get as a fresh 30:
Reds: 9x armor pen (410 ip), 9x magic pen (410 ip)
Yellow: 9x flat armor (205 ip)
Blue: 9x flat OR scaling MR (205 ip)
Quints: 3x AD OR armor pen (1025 ip), 3x flat AP (1025 ip)
The total cost to be able to play any generic AD/AP/jungler is 17,220 ip. You can even grab halloween quints for half off the quints.
EDIT: flat armor yellows are probably the single best rune investment in the game. For a mere 205 ip each, you get runes that are necessary as junglers and AD carries, and almost always used as solo top. Dodge is 4x as expensive and a lot more situational, and mana per 5 is a lot less useful overall.

Or is it just that those cannon minions are trying to steal my lasthits - because that's what it looks like.

Cool tips, thanks. I've been building a few sets since 20 (MPen, scaling mregen, flat CDR - bought health quints about a year ago, immediately before they got nerfed -_-) but I'm trying to branch out beyond just playing support or AP.
