-Taric's stun is 14 second CD 1.5 second duration (10 second CD at max rank) -TF stun is 6 second + pick CD, up to 2 second duration at max rank (in fact it's even lower, given he has passive CDR that I have no added yet)
Taric doesn't level his stun until his other two moves but I imagine you would max Pick A Card first on TF so that's relevant. Not saying TF is better overall as a support but his stun certainly is.
Also, being able to pick using W Q, W W, or W E would be mega imba. Think of it as an artificial handicap similar to not being able to autocast Inject Larva.

You're not going to be stunning people in the duo lane that often when the enemy AD carry's autoattack has a 100+ range advantage on your stun.
In teamfights you have the same problem AD TF does--that you simply can't close to W range without getting exploded--except it's worse because you're lower level and don't have the gold income to buy situational survivability items.

Because all other supports are extremely tanky in teamfights. As a support in teamfights TF babysits the carry (IOW: you aren't using your stun to initiate the fight) throwing gold cards in the face of anyone who tries to dash in and hurt him. Except his stun is on a fairly short cooldown compared to other point-and-click stuns on supports.

Alistar and Taric are inherently pretty bulky, Janna, Soraka, and Sona all act at much longer effective range, and can protect themselves with their defensive tools.

what, really? I go stun first on taric
unless u mean level it past the first level. which i actually level it to max before i level w to max

Anivia without items or blue would be pretty damn useless. You end up with just a hard to land stun and a wall. Your E does no damage and you can't keep your ult up (or have it do much anyway) because you have no items or blue. You'd literally spend the entire game praying for a perfect wall that wins the game.

Support Karthus would be better than support anivia, if we're looking at walls.

I wish I still owned like the top 5 3v3 champs like I used to... =[[

For Taric I go E,Q,Q,W,Q,R then R>Q>W>E. Unless you're going AP then R>W>E>Q with the same start as before.
|
w>q>e is pretty much the current standard
|
W is better than Q in most cases. Only take Q if you need it.

I love everyone on clg tbh They are all so cute

Is it confirmed/assumed that Kumiho is going to be the hero for the next patch? After her little preview I can't wait until she comes out !
I'm also pretty stoked that they're nerfing Gunblade, might mean that Akali will no longer be insta-banned and I can actually play her again.

Imagine an Ashe protecting a Cait, stun the guy slow him, slow him again, he ded. Support Ashe isn't that odd, and is pretty beast. Slows, free CV, stun, npnp.
Dude I saw jungle ashe once, would hawkshot and smite steal buffs, it was so boss

I recall a red post on the official forums saying Gumiho is a bit farther down the line and was just a sneak peek.

I think Riot is doing the same thing as Pixar in the sense that they have ~4 projects being worked on at once, with differing focus levels.
