I see people call for reporting teammates for feeding when they are trying and just having a bad game and/or are just a poor player. Reporting a player for being bad (but legit trying) is sad and those people are assholes. Had some Ez yell about reporting their fid because he had the worst ratio on their team.

AD is stronger early on in most cases unless your opponent is running a lot of armor (more than just armor yellows or starts cloth). This is obviously more true for champs with really good AD scaling like Pantheon or Riven compared to champs with worse scaling like Ashe.

Like Yango says, some champs, like Riven or Jax or Yorick, like AD more than arpen for other reasons. Jax and Riven get survivability, Yorick deals a lot of damage that arpen doesn't affect to begin with.

Because armor penetration doesn't actually do "so much more" than flat ad runes. You actually do less damage before they have 31 armor because you can't penetrate armor they don't have and they make your last whisper less effective since flat penetration is calculated before percentage. It's been awhile since I've seen all the math behind it, but I remember flat ad runes being much more competitive than you're making them out to be.

Wait quick question. I watched some vid that I think was old and it had a player in it before the game messing around with his rune pages....he had like 8 and I only have 3. Was that a change and now its capped at 3? Because I always wanted more rune pages because if your solo queing you want as many rune set ups as possible for the different roles.

Yeah, high spell vamp with Akali's burst is just so unfair. At least champs like Morg and Ryze (or Kennen even) don't get half their HP back in a 0.5 sec faceroll, while at the same time dropping 90% of your HP (oh and she can do it to everyone in your team consecutively too btw). Hell, even Jax doesn't lifesteal so hard meaning he only becomes a hyper carry terror lategame rather than Akali's batshit crazy midgame.

I'm 95% sure Ghouls use Yorick's ArPen just like Heimer's turrets benefit from his MPen.

I seem to recall testing this about 2 weeks ago where the Ghoul auto attacks will in fact use Yorick's ArPen value for their attacks.

It's important to differentiate between the Ghoul itself and the Omen which spawns it. Obviously the Omen will use his magic pen since it deals magic damage, but the ghoul uses his arpen value.

This does mean arpen > ad for quints / marks on Yorick while running Ancestral Knowledge because past the first early couple levels (of which Yorick needs no help with, so the marginal advantage of an extra ~5 damage on his E equaling an extra 2 points healed) is negligible compared to the mid-late game strength of the extra arpen.

my view is that if I get fed in lane it's my opponent's fault, not my being 'just that good'. If I snowball the rest of the game out I might be doing something right.

Just wondering about powerlevelling ww to 6 earlygame. He clears fast enough that he could afford about 10 or 15 seconds of lane exp but I'm wondering if you would lose too much from the lack of ms or ad quints

IIRC the "power-level 6" path for Warwick is:
Minis->Wraiths->Wolves->Blue->Minis->Wraiths->Wolves->Red->Minis->Wraiths->Wolves*, with a bluepill somewhere in there as needed (if you're undisturbed, the best time is after you grab the blue or red, minimizing the wasted camp time).

* The last set of wolves is where the XP quints make the difference. With XP quints you hit 6 off the wraith camp instead of the wolves, right at around 7:10 or 7:15, which puts you near the enemy blue when it spawns (at least, if their jungler started at blue), with a red buff and a level advantage. If you don't have the XP quints, you hit 6 only one camp later, but miss that timing.

I don't think...ever? Since most champions start with pretty low armor at level, flat armor is to bring your armor from like 15 something to close to 30. If you want scaling survival, HP/level is better.
