I played him heavily pre-nerf, and he was absolutely insane. Coordinated ganks with jungler post-6 were basically guaranteed kills. Now that's limited to essentially whatever lane he is in plus maybe the lane next to him. His ult is still amazing for doing baron / dragon since you can reveal exactly where every enemy champion is making the decision of whether or not to commit to engaging the monster much simpler. | ||

Hm. I can kind of see WC with big AP being good, but he still doesn't seem to have an advantage over any other AP carry in the game. I don't see why to pick him over Ryze or Annie any day. The stun is nice, but 1v1 if you miss a single Gold you're kinda fucked. Ninja edit: Not sure if mana's a huge problem with AP TF, if you're spamming WC. Pick up mana potions or just pull a Blue every so often? | ||

Edit; You can build him for damage but as mentioned I think his range blows and he doesn't have the survivability for it. Much better to hit+run with AP + Lichbane. | ||

I think the reason is that you get more burst and dont rely on autoattacking too much with him so you can adapt your positioning better + you deal more AoE damage as well.. You pick him over other AP carries because of his R. | ||
