lol what is with the random MF nerf in the middle of the patch notes:
Healding debuff from impure shot reduced to 3 seconds down from 8, wait do people still play MF?

oh and love the BF and CoA price reduction and then buffing IE. lol I like that one

Riot seems to have this weird idea that buffing IE helps all ranged carries, when IIRC only Ashe, Tristana, and Twitch ever got it with any regularity.

I felt ranged carries were doing about the right amount of damage to squishies and too little to tanks and tanky dps

so what they do is buff their damage vs everyone...? I don't understand... why not nerf all the tank items instead

Did they hire a new art team? Basically, Jarman, Monk and Brand all share the same trait of looking bad and made by the same guy (actually, no, Monk is abit different). I expected something like Pyromancer from HoN while Brand looks like a black dude that accidentially got on fire and throws pieces of burning clothing around. His animation is bad. His effects are BAD. Ugh.

Which is a sign that it´s probably too weak. It´s the high end item for autoattackers, critchance and damage don´t scale with anything else.

Eh it helps Caitlyn, MF (you can get IE on her again where BT was usually better after nerf), and AD TF (although I think he's better AP). Those are the only ranged carries that actually suffer the "I'm squishy as fuck and do a lot of damage but not enough, please kill me" syndrome.

Corki, Ez, urgot, and teemo all are generally built tankier than a standard ranged carry (trist, MF etc) or have really good repositioning skills/do a ton of damage without IE and another item in place of it (BT, BC, Triforce). Sivir is a special case since she'll always be good with just BT's + LW as her AD b/c of ricochet.

Losing 5 AD is hardly an issue. I'm surprised his 20% ASpeed from the first rank of W stayed intact, as that contributes way more to his earlygame jungling speed.

He is supposed to jungle though. The issue is his early ganking and the attackspeed is much less important then.

Afaik it was 20% crit before the nerf. So now while having equal cost, it provides 5% more crit (which is huge, considering you already have the +50% Crit Damage). It also is more convenient to build with the changes to BF and Cloak.

Whoa, EU is down. It's almost been a whole day since the last time.

By the way the IE buff was definitely needed, it didn't give enough for the price. For the price of the IE, Trinity offered a lot more utility and everything else whereas IE only gives damage. No movespeed or anything like that.

i dont understand why they nerfed mundo and katarina, which are two of the weakest champs anyways. probably they think that they dont have a role in competitive play anyways so its better to balance them around casual play?

I think they just nerfed the healing reduction abilities because in any situation they were good in, their length was stupidly long. In those situations healing reduction is still very strong and what seems to me like a more appropriate length.

Xin was considered a melee dps by the community last I checked, the type of champion they've been trying to make viable for the past year. They should have left him as is and remade him if they dont like his skill design, especially considering the change is aimed at low tier games and no one even complains about him anyway.

As usual we are just going to be acting testers for this patch on the live realm. Seems like we will be back where we started a few months ago with ranged dps dominating, and then riot will try something else to make your melee dps viable.

Well if you get past the laning he's insane if you accompany him with mostly tanky dps
