When I'm welfaring I ban Annie because I know anyone can win as Annie.

Does anyone play Zilean, and would be willing to post or point me towards some builds or tips? I wasn't able to find anything on lp :/

As far as LoL, Starcraft and eSports go, I think SC2 isn't particularly fun to play OR watch. BW is more fun to watch than SC2; SC2 too often is just a big blob of units vs. another big blob of units, visually, whereas you see much more interesting and clutch tactical dynamics in BW (though for the most part I can't bear to watch mirror matchups in BW either). LoL games can be fun to watch depending on team comps and playstyle; I find European play to be a snorefest, too much passive play and posturing then there's one lopsided teamfight and the game's over. I watched most of the Dreamhack Qualifiers and the actual Dreamhack LoL games, but I skipped the grand finals. The prospect of watching two European teams fight it out sounds waaaay to boring, even though they did prove the superiority of their (super lame) playstyle.
As a viewer, I find playing a game makes it easier to relate to what's going on, which is good news for Riot and LoL as an eSport due to the game's large playerbase. Watching Adelscott's Gateway-and-upgrades-heavy play in TSL3 was a LOT more exciting if you've played SC2 and are aware of the stigma surrounding Protoss Gateway-level units (at the time, at any rate; don't know if that's changed since), and watching Dyrus playing Singed while constantly taunting and laughing at his opponents on Dreamhack is pretty cool if you understand Singed and the mindgames of how running after the leering asshole will only get you in trouble. Now, if only Riot could fix LoL by making aggressive play viable at the highest levels of play, LoL tourney games would be a lot more enjoyable to watch.

Dang, that was really your first ever? I've even gotten a penta without realizing it on Singed. 8)
|
First ever. Through about 300 ranked games I've only got two quadra kills too lol
|
I just played a 20 minute loss ranked game where our bottom lane (kogmaw and lee sin) fed kennen six times in ten minutes... I was singed on solo top, even though I was pleading the kogmaw to go against anivia rather than me. Would have gotten so much more useful farm on the carry, plus maybe I could have stopped the lane from feeding...
Still went 5/2/9 on singed, with the most backwards kogmaw and lee sin ever. I swear the lee sin was building AP.
How early are you guys to call for a switch when things go south? I was running teleport on singed (standard since I watched dyrus) and I could have come down instantly for a gank or something, too bad the noobs didn't buy a ward to use for it, even though I specifically asked them to. I quote:
"you can't tele to wards loolol dumb singed stfu"
I hate elo hell.

CV es #1. No questions.

Okay so we CV their blue bush, depending on what we see, how do we respond?
|
Nukes and disables are the name of the game in level 1 fights, especially disables that cancel out a summoner spell (blitz hook). You can generally tell which team wants the fight by how many disables they have.

You have to look at summoners, champs, disables, etc.
Someone like Blitz is amazing because he can hook people who get instant jabbed before their teammates can help them.
Eve, twitch give control of the situation, but are weak by themselves. Mundo is awesome (I once got a quadrakill lvl 1 fight as mundo) because you can cleaver bushes for free over and over for nice dmg/slow.
Some heroes who would sounds like candidates are usually shit cause their lvl 1 sucks (vlad, morde).
Summoners: Exhaust + ignite #1.
