So I essentially don't think it's worth it anymore. Maybe on a couple of melee champs that have trouble sticking to enemies (I don't play melee all that much), but I rarely see any of those picked anyways. There are too many melees with jumps these days, pure melees are overshadowed.

Btw Kerp said that's pretty much the standard offtank GP so it means that my build is 2.1k elo approved once again

Ghost used to be a lot better, but now every champion and their mother has a jump of some sort and can just get to you and rape you. So now exhaust is a lot better, especially since it also blocks some magic damage along with physical. ;/

I don't think he is any better or worse tbh, just slightly different than before. I kinda like the reworked raise moral. On the other hand, I hate the reworked ult. It still feels extremely rng-ish when I play and with a much smaller radius.

Considering every single time I've ever used GP's ult I'd, at max, on a good day, get 1 cannonball to hit a champion, I love his ult now. And raise morale is more than an extra bf sword whenever you want and you don't even need a minion/ward/etc nearby so...

GPs ult has a different purpose now, you can still rofl drop it on some low health retreating champ but now it's way more helpful for ganks anywherez. Huge aoe slow.

One protip for gangplank laning: When the opponent pushes the wave to the tower, you can lasthit the ranged minions in 1 hit if you use the E active. If you level E early on you can sometimes 1-hit the minions and have the passive lasthit them for you, as well.
That's something that to me makes gang really strong, as well as his awesome sustainability and his insanely powerful autoattack(Deals like 100-150+ dmg effectively). Oh and the fact that he can easily pick teleport since he's not summoner-reliant at all.

What makes gp strong is hes a pirate, silly euros and he shouldn't take teleport, he needs flash, and ghost/exhaust is nice for ganks.
