Now it's a guaranteed assist if the enemy dies though, while it used to only be that if a cannonball actually hit. I've actually picked up more kills with the new ulti. Was hilarious doing it and then our of nowhere getting 300 gold and being like "oh.....fuck yeahhhhhh" while ally xin is all "((("

Maybe I need some more games to balance out the rng then. My experiences as a whole were much better with the old ult so far. The larger radius typically hit more heros and I would get more damage from more cannonball hits.
-No more deny. -When I put my ulti on someone with 60 hp it WILL kill them. If they have 120 hp, well that's a different matter. -I don't feel bad about farming minion waves with my ulti anymore because it's not that big of a team fight presence. This is both bad and good. -His raise morale is awesome.
Things I don't like: -Gets hella hated on and team qq's when I pick him.
Raise Morale #1 steroid now imo. GP has a very mediocre ultimate- arguably the worst in the game. But all his other skills are almost ult quality themselves.

The desire to win is too great and people feel shitty when they lose so they hate on people they feel were at fault.

Sometimes I wish I knew some of the better players in this game. I'm at a stage where I'm reliably always the best player on my team, but not good enough to make it win me a ton of games. I just don't know what to focus on. There are so many games when I just feel completly helpless trying to salvage my team. I know it can be done because there are people that havn't duo queued and still reached high ELO, and it can't just be luck.

That, or Kennen's mechanic - a cannonball hits a random champion in the circle every <x>, maybe with a limit on how many times the same target can be hit (like Kennen).
