Without Locket, I run oom within 30 seconds during fights. With Locket I can go on for 5++ minutes without having to b for mana. Locket + Mercs and then whatever (AP, Defense, Auras, as well as ward spam of course). Also gives you sick survivability unless focused hard (which seems to happen to me more and more). | ||

[/edit] It really depends on what's going on in the game. If a tower is down and the opposing team is 5 manning your mid there's a good chance you should be there waiting for them to 5v5+tower you. There's nothing worse than your team getting aced because you're off farming and then losing towers mid because you can't stop the xv1 push. If it looks safe and there's just a lot of poking and threatening going on, ONE person should be running around to farm and threaten a turret to force them to disperse from mid. It's also somewhat acceptable to farm if you have a global ult like pantheon, TF or shen, but even then you should probably be near the mid. It is acceptable for your CARRY to go and farm while the other 4 hold the turret, but if they are 5 manning your mid tower you should try as hard as possible to have your 5 there to catch a mistake on their part. Really it's just getting a hang of when to stick together and when to go clear waves, and basically you want to be clearing the wave when there's no imminent danger of losing a tower or getting caught out of position for something like dragon or baron. It's also a lot safer to do if you have lots of wards. If I have a good initiator like Ashe/Morg/Gragas/Blitz/Amumu/Alistar on my team and the other team has only 4 and their mid tower, you better believe that I'm going to try and ace-1 them with my team by diving if I think I'll come out ahead or even (4 for 4 is fine because you're not there). | ||

I think it's because only the top ~50% play ranked to begin with. So you start at the middle of the pack that's playing ranked. I think that's what Zileas is saying, but we don't really have any proof for this I suppose. | ||

I just don't understand how people can get to level 30 and still not understand what last hitting is. If I had 10ELO for every time somebody decided they'd be the carry and ended up with less than 40 CS I'd be a 1600 player by now ^_^ | ||
