Wouldn't 2 mid give stronger map control and better counter jungeling? Mid is such a safe lane that you can't really do much if you send 2 ppl there unless you somehow manage to push the tower extremely fast. Bottom/top is much bigger and has more useful brushes so you have better chances to set up a kill or zone people. And of those 2 you pick bottom for the dragon control, obviously.

It isn't too uncommon to see duo mid in HoN, but that is because the lane is longer and you can easily get kills by coming in from the sides, and kills in hon have a different impact as there are characters who are unable to get any kind of early farm and need kill money.
Also wtf westrice so BM, getting told that he can only play 1 champ all day is getting to his nerves...

Whoa Riot finds more and more ways to fuck up. I finished a practice game (with like, a victory), it went "skip waiting for stats" and hung up. I've restarted the client and now, 20 minutes after, it keeps telling me I should reconnect to a game that doesn't exist.

Its same issue as it was yesterday, gg EU servers. After playing it for awhile I understand why there are so many complains about it.

Game during serious server issues, my connection was quite stable for whole game. Hilarious numbers of disconnects, constant lag, 2/1 during lane phase, also got tower! Irelia #1 champ.

Seriously, Singed lategame is best thing ever, started out with dshield, merc, rod, sunfire, FoN, rylai, deathcap. Then sold sunfire for frozen heart and rod for Rhanduins =)

Why is this bad? If you open with e lvl 1 for teamfights or simply to harass the opponent by walking up, E + some auots, and move back, often you can just grab w and last hit to regain health. Don't need to waste pots in this case. Then lvl 3 you're full health or nearly full health and can get lvl 1 q or e, depending on the situation. (needing more burst or needing to actually get to the enemy in order to burst them.) You don't need q to last hit... ;o

So, I've been running some maths on Kog DPS on a spreadsheet while I've been in the process of trying to finally sort out all this AP/AD/AS/BR/Hybrid blah blah business. I would post this in a Kog'Maw thread but we don't have one and I'm not about to start one and maintain it as a 1200 Elo-er.

You can edit it if you find any errors or want to test different values, my setup is clunky. For most of the stuff 9 AS marks and level 2 Q are assumed as well as level 9 (hurdur malady/BR at level 9 hurdur). The spreadsheet only covers autoattack DPS.
From what I can tell, rushing IE on Kog is indeed pretty darn awful. Malady is by far the best first item you can buy. Mal/BR and Mal/SotD/Wit's are actually both about as efficient as one another against a target with 2500 HP, magic resist doesn't seem to jostle the relative position of the two at all. Unsurprisingly the latter build is far more efficient against squishies. Sorc shoes are preferred over zerker greaves for DPS with malady based builds. If you were to build pure AD/AP/AS, nearly all AS would be the best option.
I attacked it this way because I really wanted to sort out exactly how bad AD Kog was, how bad Hybrid was for auto attacks in relation to everything else, and the difference between a more AS focused build and Malady/BR. I was sort of hoping that if I shook up my perceptions about Kog builds enough I might be able to discover some secret to making him playable again in my eyes...
Any input from people with good Kog experience would be very helpful too. I know that the Mal/Wit's/SotD build runs very low on item slots late game which could be a problem.

Corki-style Trollforce/Manamune isn't bad from what I remember. Only you don't have imba-missiles or imba-gun and you don't have a natural blink. But you have a good range advantage at least.
