He starts every game as ashe with a vampiric scepter, continuing on with his horrid 0 survivability critstacking build.
I tell him to get doran's and a pot, because he has absolutely no chance versus any competent midlaner, but he just won't listen. I tell him to buy armor, because that yi keeps raping him endgame, but he just won't listen.
The worst part is that his build kind of works, in that it gives him tons of kills, but i'm not going to give him that.
Be as polite or impolite as you wish, i'll probably refer him to the most offensive post you can give me.
people that cant do simple math should probably just uninstall altogether

Calling an explosion of people playing Cho'gath now because of this Alienware game.

I think Utah and I have always agreed that the #1 most imba thing about Cho is that if he just stands on your fucking carry the opposing team can't fucking click your goddamn Tristana with 100 HP GOD GET YOUR FAT ASS OFF OF TRIST YOU FAT FUCK I JUST WANNA AUTOCRIT HER GODDAMN IT!

Cho has incredible potentional. His base numbers are among the best in the game and he has inbuild snowballing, the issue is that he heavily relies on hitting rupture which gets near impossible against competent players.
|
no he doesn't, he just silences your whole team for 2.5 seconds and puts rupture on his carry so that if you try to jump them, his carry automatically gets breathing room. #1 babysitting tank.

Was just on a 1-hour long busride just now.
To continue my "hexdrinker doesn't suck as a first item" campaign, I have to point out that the shield regenerates every 45 seconds, so it's almost like a catalyst in that it's amazing for forcing burst exchanges in lane, letting the shield regen, and then doing it again .
Whether or not you think that's worth exchanging a brutalizer + dblade is for, I leave it for you to test out, but I think it's worth giving a couple of games to try out.
In any case, I'm calling it a mid to high-impact item. It'll be less impacting than ghostblade/randuin, but more impacting than manamune and wriggles.
I'm probably going to build it as core on olaf and katarina

Alienware Arena finals are up: http://www.own3d.tv/clgame
edit: well this is unfortunate, Hotshot commentary instead of team ventrilo chat. Not that the commentary's bad or anything but team chat is always so good. t.t

If the passive activates then you're going to have to go back soon anyway?
Personally I'm not against the item nor for it but the only time I used it I found it to be really useful. I mean, the opposing team had a Garen, poppy and Kassadin and I was like welp time to test this out.

I dunno, it activates when your HP is going to go below 30%, so even if you have 50% hp and they drop a nuke that would take off 21% of your health, the shield will block it.

I'm amazed that people would consider hexdrinker on ranged carries, that seems awful to me. Why would you delay your infinity edge? And replacing doran's with hexdrinker is just LOL.
It's for melee carries who end up eating burst and aoe every fight, but can't afford to spend gold on survivability or they fall behind the damage curve compared to ranged carries. This does a lottttttttt to remedy that.
|
As far as theorycrafting goes, I just think it's a situational counter for any DPS vs. insta-gibbing casters (be that because the caster was a solo and they were a duo or because the caster is fed, w/e).
|
So taric lags every time you use ult or heal. Or it's just me, like the gay pantheon circle crap and some cast animations.
|
i tried hexdrinker.. i wasn't particularly impressed. I'm not convinced it's bad, but it's hard for me to see at the moment at what point in the game i would want it.

@FakeSteve: what's the story on getting this forum more publicly accessible?
|
the influx of new only lol users would make TL look like an alterate universe of what TL is/was. And that would be one hell of a headache for the mods who still have to deal with the sc2 influx of users.
the Lol forum just exploded with pages, the most similar in terms of explosion was the Kpop forum but it slowed down and it did bring users who only posted in that forum.

I like this forum where it is. This thread is basically the same as the last except it moves a lot slower (which isn't really a bad thing) and the rest of the threads are just bonuses. I wanna see a Newegg progress thread. ^__^

Imagine this in the voice of David Attenbourugh: Chogath, this presumed extinct creature, have reappeared in a lot of it's old hunting grounds. The most common place to find this beatiful creature is in the void leak near the summoners rift.
The creature, who was presumed to be living under beds in the middelages, was hunted down for it's rare magical theets that could carve through anything. They were also hunted down because they were rumoured to eat children out of their beds at night. The Majestic creature and it's families fled back to their old habitat near the twisted treeline.
Before today, not a single one has been spotted in over three months. But after view of it was catched on the CLG hunting grounds, the biologs, explorers and others has tried to find the creature. One of the few who chaught a view of it before it disappeared three months ago, the hunter and explorere, Ezreal spotted it close to a sacrifice setup by Malzahar the void Prophet.
Now we have the extrordinary chance of getting to study this beatiful animal as it re-emerges into our world. We have gotten a tips that a stray Cho Gath was spotted not to far away from our position and we are now trying to spott it and see if we can get a hunters mark on him to track his paths and other things.
We must approach it slowly and carefully as we plant the mark on it's back. In order to calm it down while we do this we have brought a purple minion to feed him. PM: what is this? this was not in my job description!? OH DEAR GOD!! Cho Gath: OM NOM NOM NOM NOM
Ok now that we have given it something to eat we will approach it. Good Cho, good Cho. Cho Gath: Gentlemen can I do something for you? Now that's fine, can we please put this mark on you? Cho Gath: why sure gentlemen, but only if you want to become my next snack. I think we might have encountered the rare CDR Cap Cho Gath this is not to good for us. Cho Gath: OM NOM NOM NOM NOM OH DEAR THE THEET ARE HUGE AND SHARP ARGH!
Cho Gath: NO, I do not live under a bed FOOL!
rant: I still don't understand why people tell me (or others, or themselves) not to pick cho. He is awesome
