2 games today, 1 where i'm jungling, top loses their tower within 4 minutes and goes 1/6 within 15 minutes, MF wins mid 2/1 but d/cs at 10 minutes, and we barely lose because Shen and I can't carry 2v5 with a heimer doing jack all for farming and damage.
Game 2, first pick JUNGLE TRYNDAMERE, followed by lane fiddlesticks. Duo lane Sion feeds first blood by running into a spinning garen and getting wombo combo'd into their tower by Alistar, Fiddle loses top with 17 CS by the time his tower dies, and despite successfully 2v5ing their team twice with Ezreal, we can't stabilize the game because Sion and Trynd keep feeding before we can teamfight.
wtb help getting out of the up-down loop of disconnects and 1.5 cs/minute lane fiddlesticks, pst. I just don't know what to do.. I know I'm not as bad as these retards, but i'm also not a good enough player to out-carry 4 minute towers and 150 CS disadvantages on my carries.
niton, there are three ways i would win games at the 700 elo level when i dropped down there
1) play annie. win your lane convincingly. get a mejai's (or don't), gank lanes constantly. win teamfights with void staff and your ult.
2) play someone that can push towers, even better if they can jungle or solo. gank when you can, teamfight when it's necessary, but don't do that thing that low elo players do where they group mid at 20 minutes FOR 20 minutes and just throw skillshots at each other. split push and take towers. bonus points if you're someone who can 1v1 effectively too. pick anyone off that tries to stop you.
3) learn shaco. even at 1500 i CANNOT lose with shaco because of just how bad solo queuers are in general. all you need to do is get a couple kills early and then push towers with your clone midgame and make sure you take/contest every dragon. freewins

Ugh. I'm soon going to be starting ranked games hardcore and I will probably refuse to do #3. I really don't like Shaco. The playstyle or the champion. I started playing when Olaf was introduced and around that point there was a free Shaco week and being new to the game, I got horribly stomped over and over again.
I've been scarred (and scared) ever since.

gtrsrs's suggests are stupidly specific.
here's all there is to it really... pick characters who you can use to kill people for making mistakes. bonus points if they demand a solo/jungle and even more bonus points if they are also good pushers. that's literally all he said there. Shaco and Annie are just 2 examples of characters like this, Nidalee, Pantheon, Malzahar, Urgot, Mordekaiser and Master Yi are some other good examples of characters with highly desirable solo queue traits for low level stomping.
|
So I'm feeling a tanky female yordle champion that's basically a LoL version of tron bonne.
|
I have more trouble than I should stomping with Urgot. Easy to net kills early and midgame but once teamfights start happening it seems as though my games can go either way. If I were playing a real carry at that point I'm sure I can take it, but Urgot just doesn't have that power most of the time.

my friend has some issues with the online/offline deal too, i think its just an own3d thing

they're specific because they're exactly what i did O_o i'm saying that's what i did and would do again

The problem is, you could go 6/0 in the first 15 minutes, and start pushing towers solo mid-late game, but you'll still lose if your team can't hold a tower as 4.
Also, the main issue i have with playing a jungler at low levels, is that everybody just auto-attacks and pushes their lanes to the tower, so it's generally impossible to gank anywhere.
If you tell them to let the lane push, no matter how you phrase it, they'll (at best) ignore you, or (at worst) start flaming and going afk because they know how to play and don't need anyone telling them what to do.
Sadly, it happens alot, no matter what your score is. I used to find that getting a lot of early kills would make your team more likely to follow basic directions, but nowadays it just doesn't seem to make any difference.
They'll still stack MR against only physical damage teams and vice-versa, and they'll still rage at you when you point that out.

might be a rune/mastery/build problem, because urgot only gets stronger as the game goes on. when I finish my core of manamune/last whisper/merc treads/banshee veil/frozenheart or GA I am essentially invincible...
could also be a cs problem, kills dont necessarily put you ahead. I tend to play almost passive on urgot since i know my lane opponent wont even try to mess with me, so im free to just get every single cs.

they're specific because they're exactly what i did O_o i'm saying that's what i did and would do again it's just like... 1 and 3 are examples of 2... I dunno, 2 is a good example of advice, because it generalizes what was actually driving you to win, whereas 1 and 3 were just super specific examples that are useless to someone who doesn't excel with those characters.

one time i tried to split push my team decided that even though i told them not to fight, to 4v5 dive them at their tower. and repeat this 4 more times all while jointly flaming me.
oh and not to mention our team went like 7-1 during laning.
fortunately i was mundo and i snuck both mid and top lanes all the way up to inhib before 20mins or something stupid because other team had no map awareness and my team made good bait. zzz.
idk some people just dont get how to split push. it doesnt seem like such a hard concept... they are just like OH NOES CANT DO ANYTHING BESIDES GROUP MID AND STARE AT EACHOTHER.

I imagine it's more of a skill issue. Just have to learn to carry with him better.

It is an issue, I contacted own3d about it and they somehow managed to fix it for me. So just send them a feedback mail and they will fix it.
