I ended with around 850 ap. The took down all our inhibs, but all the minions would just group up and I would clear a wave for 300-500 gold. Thinking they could bd and take the final inhib allowed me to just destroy nid/kass. They started coming in only one or two at a time, and then surrendered when we were going to win.

They were getting raped so they had to build unusual things. 1000 damage stun, 1000 damage shield and 800 damage autoattack, I was raping. And vlad and kass almost had 20 stacks most of the game so they thought they could build tanky because I was raping them.

So I found out the main reason why I've been losing solo ranked lately. It's not because of my skills, it's because of my inability to tell my team what to do. Every game, I always find one guy, always that one guy, that would rather farm that group up and go for an objective. That guy, single handedly would cause unfavorable fights because he would not rotate. I think this statement goes for all games regardless of elo. There is always that one guy that doesn't group, or groups up late, and that one guy makes games harder than they should be, or ends up losing you the game despite how well your performance was early game. The easiest way to lose your lead in games is to engage in unfavorable fights or fights where you are on equal footing. See, that one guy that wouldn't rotate would make fights 4v5. With 4v5, maybe we would lose 3 and they would lose 3, but they would take our sprees, they would stall, and they would eventually catch back up. So, main way to win solo ranked if you're doing everything right, is to group your team up like a baller and abuse things like map control to pick people off, or force unfavorable fights. This is a really hard role. To get that one guy to group up, you have to always be looking at the map, pinging, and typing in all caps. This is really hard when you have your attention somewhere, and you can't let up even once. If you have one bad fight, that one bad fight might lose you the game, you never know. Most people might think this is a no brainer, but actually, this kind of shit happens way too often, without you realizing. Often times, this happens on your team, and other times, this happens on the other team.
Another alteration of this, is the guy who always forces bad fights. He will go into the enemy jungle thinking he can steal a buff without his team around or 5 people around, and will die. Then this guy will force teams to engage in awkward fights to try to save, or will have to fight 4v5. These kinds of teammates are harder to control than the previous example of teammates. You literally have to follow these kinds of guys on the minimap 24/7, predict when they might make a bad decision, and try to persuade them out of it. Most times, these guys will never listen. They will do what they set out to do anyways, like blue jack with 5 people mia. I have tried many solutions for these guys, like rage, try to tell them nicely with smiley faces, point them out on their mistakes, etc. but these guys never change. I guess all you have to do is hope you don't get these guys on your team.
Anyways, hope you're not the GUY. The guy that either comes in late for fights, or engages in bad fights and forces your team into awkward positions where they lose. Once you learn to deal with these types of guys, or girls, then you start to understand solo que more, and sometimes go up a lot. i am usually that guy, unless its baron I could really care less. only time i control dragon is when I play shaco, since all i do is control buffs and dragons, but besides that im probably solo farming somewhere

There are many cases where you actually WANT someone to solo farm etc. instead of stay in a group. The whole stick together and win teamfights thing only works out if your composition is made for it, and is better than the enemy composition in teamfights.
Oh and all caps doesn't work. It's usually counter productive.
