I draft Nova low (I was 4rth in draft I think) vs a 1 warrior 3 squishies. Their last pick then goes for a 2nd tank (which is ok we have Lunara). I get flamed, people are discouraged, they play like it's over from start, the loss is blamed on me. Not on Auriel being front all game and feeding, and Diablo playing like a retard and feeding (the other 2 players were actually good).
I die 3 times, Auriel 6, Diablo 8 (half of them were suicides)...
I draft Nova (5th vs 3 squishies and we have Greymane), I get blamed because no wave clear. I prepick Nova on their 5th pick, wait 28 secs then a guy wakes up and says "No Nova". Well, it's too late to discuss another pick, next time pay attention to the draft.
We stomp them, like VERY hard, we have 2 death in the whole game, me and Jaina on the last objective because we got greedy after such a perfect game and it was already won.
Out of my last 6 games with Nova in HL, I won 5. That's more than 80% winrate. Lost the one where the team didn't even try (or were too bad, can't tell). I wish people would get less salty about Nova picks when they are relevant. I'm so sick of it I report every single idiot who starts getting salty about my Nova picks. I just want to enjoy the game like anyone does with their favorite heroes.
edit: this is not related to Cephiro's message up here. I'd blame any idiot who don't get healer when the team needs one. Sometimes the team doesn't though (the opponents are 4 squishies, you have sustain heroes with high DPS, you can go all in and 5th pick Greymane / Nova / Zera).

Playing consistently good, fun games in master league, lots of even games, no stomps, really fun, high level experience... winning more than losing, then suddenly get 3 diamonds on our team and get roflstomped. Like, why? Why does the system want to force a loss so hard on us?

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me either. It's just silly to win maybe 6 and lose 3 even matched games, then get stomped a few times to even it out.

I got a guy who was on his 2nd HL game EVER. Not a smurf or anything. At diamond. Come on Blizzard, even if the guy is good it's obvious it's a level way above his head. He was terrible, but it's not even his fault...

HL just drives me crazy. It's still an up-and-down because everything seems so random. I'm "Yoyo"ing between Dia 5 and Gold 4 constantly. Which is a huge margin, tbh...
Yesterday: I pretty much lose every single game. I try to tell my team what to do, but they don't listen. They just die left and right, initiate 1v5 and so on and so forth. And if we're ahead once, at one point some tank decides to initiate 1v5 to still throw the game last sec.
Today: I win pretty much every game. One game we had a troll who just suicided (!!!) intentionally for 10minutes or just now our tank left the game at min. 0 and we still won.
It just seems like I got absolutely no influence on how the gme turns out. The worst player in the game just decides which team is gonna be victorious; and even if I might be better than the average player, it just doesn't matter if the worst player turns out to be in my team.

Shouts out to the Li Ming who decided to get caught in every single mosh pit once we were 6 away from winning with 22 shots left on our core. Despite our use of Cleanse and Sanct. And the fact we had 4 'melee'.

oh god thats painful. i recently started to appreciate the "second dmg teleport" ult and its so good vs mosh pit, i see ppl taking stage dive cuz they cant be bothered... i also feel like li ming is one of the safest dps in game, ive literally had games where my team dies ~6 times and im only at 1 or 2 (still top dmg)... my heart goes out for u <3

Solo queue, 5th pick, I'm glad I'll be able to adapt to the team. But I'm too stupid to prepick early and end up with support (nothing wrong with support, but with potatoes it's the worst role). BoE, with 2 warriors so I take BW. Well... 2 warriors ? NOPE, in fact 2 idiots chasing Morales in the other team all the time, while I could outheal her (and we have Lunara).
I asked them to stop chasing. They always said I was wrong and they weren't chasing. Well... they never ever ever played defense, never peeled or protected, so I started to feed at 11 minute (they already took a 3 levels lead, 1 keep and 2 forts) and we lost at 14 minutes. This game is so easy with Lunara BW + 2 warriors... play long fights and wait until they all die / run out of mana and die.
One other little thing I need to let out.
We're in draft, our 1st pick don't prepick. We wait to decide the ban. He never prepicks although the whole team asks him. 1 full minute after picking, he says "was on phone, don't worry i can play all". HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW ? The guy was on a 4 losses streak. Got another one. Not because of the draft, but because obviously he doesn't care at all. This + Raynor flaming after draft because we didn't ban Kerrigan, but he never asked us to.
Fortunately it lasted 14 minutes. At 11 when they obviously wouldn't understand the problem I started feeding

I fully agree with Harris1st.
2 days ago I had a game were my team went for tard tactics, leading to a quick 3 levels deficit, only 1 keep left whereas we hadn't kill a single of their buildings. After 1 boss steal, 2 waves of spiders and 3 team wipes, we won. This game is designed around one single rule : NEVER. GIVE. UP.
If you guys don't have the mindset to fight until the end, don't even start. Thank you

I understand your reactions guys. But it's not like that at all.
1. This wasn't real feeding, it was "I positioned normally on 3 fights (maybe 2) so that I was sure that with Stitches and Sonya not protecting us at all it would lead to me dying fast". It's more "I won't try at all since you don't", than "I straight up feed". Didn't went 1v5. Didn't dive turrets. Didn't even yolo front (well, maybe a bit if you consider there's no front). I just played so that I was sure I'd die without my warriors. It didn't fail. What's fun is that it's what Jaina did all game but not willingly.
To me it's the same as feeding and I'd report any player who does that TBH. I'm ok with being reported for it too. But it may be different in your book.
2. You have 2 warriors, but they split the team. They are chasing a full life Morales who has teammates with her, while their team murders the backline. All game long. I try to explain to them, but they say they already protect us. I'm a sustain support. Where's the hope ? It's not like I'll start killing people or will do spectacular saves.
One fight before I decide to stop trying, I was busy saving Lunara from Thrall then I hear 2 death chimes, our warriors. I pinged back 3 times but they didn't care. When Sonya asks me where I was I say "please stop chasing, I was busy saving Lunara". Then Sonya says "I saved Lunara not you". Yup. You suicided into 4 guys while Lunara with an health bar full of poison (envenom) was saved at the last second by me wasting all my CDs to use my healing mist + handling Thrall.
You have a sustain team, but the warriors try to burst. You have 3 squishies but the warriors won't protect them. You have Stitches but he won't do 1 good hook in the whole game. You have BW but the warriors split the team so that you cannot heal your team.
And the warriors are in utter denial over it. It's not like they will change. And it's the reason why I main warrior now BTW.
I fight all my games till the end. Even when we lose hard. This time, it was way beyond hope. I should show you the replay, you'd understand.

edit: having fun looking at the replay right now and I notice the only fight we win it's when Sonya wasn't here at all so Stitches protected us instead of yoloing, at level 3. But the rest of the game they dive together into defeat.

Ok, 4 QM today with Sylvanas, and these 4 games were versus Nova, and 2 of them had Zeratul or Tracer. When you think Blizzard trolls you hard, you end with an ALL RANGED ABATHUR TEAM versus a 4 ranged Butcher team.
No melee Abathur teams should never ever happen. Especially when the other team does have a melee...
I've been mean so Blizzard's punishing me. ^^

Gotta love the Falstad with 290 games who started suiciding because we were getting picked by Butcher + ETC + Jaina + Greymane + Uther... like yeah, with that much CC, and I'm Rehgar, there's only so much I can do - if I get charged, I get slid, stunned, slowed and so on and can't do shit because there's no self cleanse. Does he gust to get them away when they engage like that once? No.
