I think it would be cool if heroes had their individual one-time achievement quests that give a small amount of gold and give you a little flair in your profile on that hero. Achievements would be things that are attainable by simply playing well, and would not require someone to play too differently.
For example, for Reghar, they can have the achievements:
Working Overtime - Have at least 100,000 healing in a single game [50g] Apex Predator - Kill 5 heroes in ghost wolf form in a single game [50g] Emergency Resuscitation - Save a teammate below 5% HP using Ancestral Healing [100g]

Just picked up Sylvanas as my second specialist (although she's more of an assassin), she's fun though it takes a little getting used to holding Q and knowing when and how to use Haunting Wave. You can unload quite a bit of damage quite quickly though and minion waves and towers are so much easier to deal with.
She is one of those heroes that is countered quite hard by Nova in QM, very little I can do other than hope my BfB and Bolt allow me to escape in time but that is more due to QM than Sylvanas or Nova. Not having a decent decloak against a Zeratul/Nova kinda sucks but I'm used to that playing Kerrigan, although Sylvanas would have to use her escape ability to force a decloak which isn't ideal.
Wailing Arrow is such a nice ult to use, just aim, fire and bam when it's good and well in the enemy team. If they ever change Possession they'd better make it really strong in order to be a valid pick or just allow it to be used on enemy Heroes for a few seconds (they'd be bot controlled). The other option would be to allow it to turn a whole wave and grant you the XP as if you killed them, fits her theme very well and would make mercs and minion waves more interesting.

If we are to trust those balance changes....they actually buffed Kael'thas hahahahaha. They didn't nerf Sylvanass, and reworked Possession, and they nerfed Illidan a little (Well, metamorphosis deals no damage now when you cast it, still better than the Hunt).
Promote sucks now. Evenom sucks now too.
|
well its just a datamining I think ? And Promote is just easier to clean up for heroes and you use it for lane pushing only anyway. And Envenom is just slower, which means there might be other talents viable now if you want burst.
But if we really get a cooldown reduce on living bomb, you better stay away from Kael in the early game, unless he is one of those that Ds his flamestrike instead of bomb. Lategame its not that strong anymore because of the short range. So bascially lessens Kaels power spike.
The nerf to Jaina/Kael is in the Spell shield change.

Blood for Blood and Envenom nerfed is going to make Kerrigan even worse. Hopefully they'll give her a full redo sometime soon.
And a buff to Kael'thas? Really Blizzard?
EDIT: Link to the data mined changes.

I always thought Kerrigan's kit was bizarre. I mean, sure, I guess, combo hero, whatever. But aside from being such a one-trick pony, it's weird for it to be Kerrigan. The kit looks like it was designed by someone who looked at her model and said "Spikes. Her thing is spikes." And the trait is even more bizarre: "Hi! I'm shitty Thrall's trait"
No, her thing in BW was stealth/ranged spell damage/melee autos, and in SC2 was toughness combined with high damage area and single target abilities, all ranged.
Honestly, she should have always been this ranged psionic attacker with melee autos, an ability to talent into brief stealth, and a trait that had anything at all to do with the character.

pl talks about jaina losing the sprint, but where is the source of this?

This is actually a really good idea. (except I think blizzard wouldn't be so generous with the gold)

When I read Emergency Resuscitation I ready Risk letting a team mate go down to 5% before saving him. The other two is force your team into fights and prevent an early finish. And I am one of those weak willed people that will probably get affected by this in a few games. Then we could also do those merc camp dailies etc and get around complains about gold gain being locked onto heroes which is pay2win, because gold makes you better in some peoples eyes. Sigh we just need to make people better person before having fun dailies.

the link is 2 posts above yours and nothing official but a datamining. They could have added troll changes, but we won't know unless we have the official patch notes.

On the eternal conflict interviews they talked about a build where Jaina had no sprint talent. The datamined info might be from that build. Otherwise, that changed might have been approved and will now be implemented.

I just saw a Gazlow almost winning at ESL, but throwpit was to strong.

Yeah I'm watching as well, what a game though. The throw pit earning its name once more.
That 3v5 chase though, weird.

There is no mention of Jaina nor Sprint in those changes so...

I'm glad that Zeratul isn't really being changed much
I think the wrong aspects of Vikings (skills, not soaks) are being changed. Don't really understand that.
BW and Malf have a ton of changes... I wonder if all of them are really necessary.
What's the significance to "buffing" Abathur's Toxic Nest by exactly 1 damage? Does it now exactly kill off something that it didn't beforehand? 50 base damage (+15 per level) to 51 base damage (+15 per level)...?

They've updated the page, for some reason they reorganized the page:
Note: Removed talents and talents which have moved tiers are not listed below. Check out hero pages and select PTR to see the full list.
You can see Jaina's new talents tree here: http://www.heroesnexus.com/talent-calculator/41-jaina?filter-ptr=1#pAA
Interesting to see how drastically they're changing Vikings, a little surprised how long it took though given that they've admitted Vikings win-rates were high and on launch they kept saying over and over again that they suspected Vikings were broken in the hands of really skilled players, I guess they finally got enough data from high end games to prove their hypothesis.

I found that very strange too. I was thinking they might use some complex mathematical formula to determine a power level and they wanted to buff him and the number only came out to + one on toxic nest. I dunno /shrug

And we haven't seen a viking player control all 3 vikings one by one for the duration of a full fight, to maximize their effectiveness. So they will show their true broken form at some point.
Sad about Infest, was fun how hard a catapult hit heroes.

At first glance, it seems like Vikings are being gutted. I find it particularly curious that Blizzard is nerfing Vikings late game teamfighting as opposed to the split laning, which was always the real problem. The cleanest solution would have been to increase the XP gain for killing a Viking, thereby allowing for more counterplay against split laning, and then rebalancing the Vikings around that.
