We'll see. Like Raynor is my boy and I think this is actually a minor nerf to Raynor since you get so much attack speed reduce via inspire. Somewhat the same deal with Zera + Aba or Illidan + Aba.

I'm not as pessimistic either since most heroes that care about autos have a high attack speed (Nova is a notable exception).

But it is a pretty drastic change that could have unintended consequences of course.

Yeah I'm still not sure if this is a nerf or a buff to blind. The issue I have is that in general APC are more popular than ADC in the current meta. It almost feels like a non-factor to everyone but ADC but a nerf to ADC.

With the upcoming Envenom and Blood for Blood nerf, I'm wondering if going for the Ranger's Ambush + Windrunner is an option.

Ranger's Ambush refills Withering Fire and Windrunner allows you to cast a second Haunting Wave.
That's 15 Withering Fire arrows available, as well as having a second Haunting Wave available.
Could be used both defensively and offensively. You could even be a little more risky, going in with Haunting Wave #1 for a total of 10 arrows and then going back out with the second wave, dumping five arrows into anything nearby.

I wonder if Splinter Shot (Withering Fire hitting a second target for about 75% dmg) would be good with that.

That combo is at least fun in AI games, but I can't speak to its competitiveness.

The problem with going a Haunting Wave build is that you don't get any burst whatsoever from talents that way. You just get more sustained damage and mobility, which she doesn't need. It's a fun thing to try for sure, but it's not better than getting Cold Embrace at level 16. And Envenom might still be the preferred talent at 4 even after the nerf.

In a quick run on the test map it did alright, though it is a lot of micro to get everything going.

Cold Embrace could work as well, I've only picked up Sylvanas a few days ago so I'm still trying things.
Envenom after the nerf takes 10 seconds to do its damage, that is hardly burst either.
Envenom also has a 60 second cooldown, compared to only 11 for Haunting Wave.

I think Sylv will need other level 4 talents if they really make envenom like this. Longer stun ... auto Q ... quiver refill after using your escape ... and envenom that will only remove the natural regeneration of some heroes ... maybe if it would stop mounting it would still have some benefit.

the 5 extra arrows might help you escape though with evasive fire. But in most cases using your escape offensively will result in death.

Another bigger problem with a Haunting Wave build is that you need to cast the 2nd wave before you can teleport to it, a friend of mine found that out the hard way and it can make the difference between successfully evading a gank or dying miserably.

Altough usually i pick divine shield 90% of the time to try and save stupid team mates that overextend

Of course you should variate the build in certain situations, but in general that's a pretty good one, and its the standard for sure. One thing you need to take into account is that Uther is the best burst healer in the game, but his cooldowns are fairly long and his sustained heal is lacking. Therefore, knowing when to time abilities and talents like Protective Shield, Divine Shield, and which skill to use with benediction (maybe you want double stun, or double heal) is crucial to playing good with Uther. He is kinda hard to play in my opinion because of all his active abilities.

What do you mean exactly? The second wave can be used 2 seconds after teleporting from the first one, not after casting it.
You only have to cast the second one within 2 seconds, how long it takes before you teleport to the second one is up to you.

I personally find Uther quite difficult to play well. You just have so many fucking buttons and you have to use them all in each team fight.
