I feel in the context of a team fight blind is getting buffed. While in the context of making it safer to poke or engage it's getting nerfed. Basically it looks Ike they want it to be a reactive mechanic rather than predictive one.

Haven't been playing all that much lately so I havent played with/against a ton of Johannas but she really seems fine to me. Maybe it's a little annoying for all the Chen players that she totally outshines him in the annoying and unkillable role.

Johanna is more then fine, until you reach the competitive level, I would say. She is more an Illidan type. Really weak at noob level, really evil at pro level. Just like Kael is a Nova type. Stomps noobs like flies, higher up he is just a spellcaster.

I think KT would be perfectly balanced if they made flamethrower like 25%. But right now it gives him the luxury of not requiring defensive talents because he just Q's from a safe distance. Possibly even remove it outright and give a different talent. I think KT should be a glass cannon and at the moment he's an AOE nuclear missile.

Eh, I wouldn't put Kael in the same class as Nova as just a newb stomper. His power spike at 16 legitimately changes games. One good Flamestrike on the back line (which can be done as an initiation!) can often guarantee victory in a fight.

Daze Tech

We are changing the way many of the knockbacks in Heroes of the Storm currently work. Previously, the majority of abilities that moved an enemy character also applied a stun during the movement. This means abilities like Tychus’ grenade or Raynor’s Penetrating Round would double as a Stun for channeled abilities. With this new tech, many of these knockback abilities will no longer stun mobile channeling abilities including Tychus’ Overkill, Li Li’s Jug of 1000 cups, Sonya’s Whirlwind, and Valla’s Strafe. Knockback effects that we’d like to apply a stun, Muradin’s Haymaker for example, will keep the stun, but it will be explicitly part of the ability and called out in the tooltip. As an added note, stationary channels such as Mosh Pit and Ravenous Spirit will still be interrupted by a knockback effect.

Seems pretty intuitive. If you're able to move while channeling, a knockback effect that moves you won't interrupt unless explicitly stated that it stuns.

Intuitively it makes sense, but that is going to have huge ramifications going forward. But then again right now Valla and Lili aren't exactly tearing it up, so this might be why now rather than early (Malfurion's Tranquility was always uninterruptible for some reason).

Pretty big buff to Sonya too, maybe, hopefully. She needs help as it is.

Tranq worked that way because Tranq is an aura not a channeled ability which is why he can use all his basics while under it's influence. It is also the reason Tranq persists through Ice Block. Why can Tychus use his basics while channeling Overkill? Who knows.

Yeah I like that idea and I think it sounds fair. Should make more heroes viable... the ones who have ults/ big attacks that can get interrupted by pretty much anything.

I had the same thing with a Zagara once playing Anub'Arak.
Every single time I popped Locust Swarm, Maw hits.
The third or fourth time I just insta-Burrowed when I popped it and the Maw missed.
Guess that Zagara just didn't like me.

BW vs Tychus is a nightmare matchup for Tychus. He can't chip away HP from BW with his grenade and if he Q's you just poly him. Honestly Tychus should just rotate lanes if he sees he's against a BW.

Tychus used to be able to auto-attack while channeling Overkill too (I know that was a bug)!

I guess tranq is so weird to me because it's a stationary channel in both WC3 and WoW. Also the fact that there aren't any other Aura's that follow around the caster (well I guess Emerald Wind if you get hit with a knock back during the casting, but EW is a pulse not an aura =p).

Only if you stood still while Q'ing. If you moved it cancelled the auto attacks. So you could Q down a tower in no time.

Several Abilities were unintentionally providing brief moments of Unstoppable behavior during use. The following Abilities no longer provide Unstoppable:
Chen -- Flying Kick (Q)
Falstad -- Barrel Roll (E)
Illidan -- Dive (Q)
Illidan -- Sweeping Strikes (with the Unbound talent) (W)
Kerrigan -- Ravage (Q)


Also Tychus seems to be getting +1 range on his basic. That is actually quite huge. One of his major downsides was being a point blank ranged assassin which is why Q build was really the only viable build for him.

Hero Progression
•Several Hero Level rewards have been slightly altered: •Hero Level 9 -- A new 750 Gold reward has been added. •This Gold reward will also be retroactively granted to players for each Hero that reached level 9 prior to today’s patch.

•Hero Level 15 -- Reward reduced from 1,250 to 1,000 Gold
•Hero Level 20 -- Reward reduced from 2,500 to 2,000 Gold •Players will not lose any Gold that had already been earned by reaching Hero Levels 15 or 20 prior to today’s patch.

I've been playing the game for a few days now doing QM, my first moba and the game's really awesome. One thing that bothers me is that I feel the game is very snowbally and it's hard making a comeback if you are 2 lvls behind, the lead of dominant team just grows as the game goes on. I've been on both sides, and I rarely played an even match so far.
