Also speaking of coordination, that's part of what makes Stiches so stupid good. His hook is a giant telegraphed 'Kill This!' sign that works great in soloq. I had a few games with Stiches and even if I hooked the 'wrong' target everyone would just blow it up anyways lol (example, played against triple warrior + Raynor + Malf - I tried to hook a weak Raynor got full hp Malf instead, who promptly died before he was off the hook and I looked like a genius =D). | ||

I know what you mean, but on the flip side when we wipe the enemy team late game it feels like they're all back up before we can do anything meaningful! So I don't know what can really be done about this, especially as you start pushing across the map short respawn timers + short travel distances would just drag the game out. | ||

I just think being dead a whole minute is way too much, if you die two times around the 10 minute mark you are basically dead 1/6 of the whole game ... It just doesn't feel right. How come there seem to be so many disconnects in Heroes compared to other games (say StarCraft 2). Anybody else notice that there seems to be way more disconnects in this game? I was just thinking about it this afternoon when our Chen and the other teams Azmodan were both bots in the same game. | ||

I've got a theory, not sure though but...probably because its beta ![]() And the game isn't fully optimized yet. Also, it seems on some situations, if you alt-tab, it discconects you for a second. Now...about the death timmers... Not only do they exist to make the games shorter, but they exist to make comebacks posible. Yeah, a lot of people talk about the "comeback" mechanic being just the bonus exp you get when you kill heroes that are of a higher lvl than you (and how the enemy gets less exp from killing you). But thats just part of it. After a team fight or killing an out of place hero, you may catch up with the hero lvls, but that won't get you back into the game, death timers will though. If a hero or more are dead, you can pressure safely/take the map objective/, more easily kill the rest/ get a boss, etc etc. And if you do that, or simply pressure, you might destroy a fort or a keep, and that is what will get you back into the game. So, while it sucks to be a minute doing "nothing" its kind of a necesary evil, maybe i would make the curve in which the death timmers increase less...pronounced (?), but i think if we want a game where comebacks are an everyday thing, instead of rare things like on other games on the genre, we will need to deal with that. As a suggestion, since you are dead you can utilize that time to give orders, warn the rest of your team of an ambush, or complain about how much they suck and they got you killed xD. They should add a death recap sooner or later, that would help too. | ||
