Might be nice in an uber control/combo deck that needs to borrow as much time as possible.

So for now we have the start of a new Ch'tun deck. Since the whole Deck revolved around finding Ch'tun it sound like a victory condition cards for control decks (similar to Anyfin for paladin control). I am little worried that because drawing Ch'tun is actually so important for the deck, it will only end up being used in Warlock again (same as Reno) since that the only class that can draw him consistently in a reasonable time. I also wander how many sub-par cards needs to be in the deck (even if a 3/4 for 3 is not bad it is still sub par for constructed) for this victory condition to work. Comparing to Anyfin: we have 5 sub par + 2 combo card so the victory condition takes 7 slots total: If we can make something similar then it will probably become a decent victory condition.
For the other 3 cards, difficult to evaluate: - the new loot hoarder can find it's place in mid-range decks that have keeping their hand size (mid-range shaman/Rogue). It is also a reasonable option for a 4 drops for any Reno deck, especially in Standard. Will probably see a little of play her and there. - the new healbot seems really strong for any mid-range deck, at the condition that fighting for the board on turn 5-6 is still relevant which is really hard to predict at this point. The combo with the Auchenai is cute, maybe if we have a more board centric priest going that may see play. But It will probably fit better in a druid for example. - the new doomsayer seems meh.... not sure about this one. a 7/7 for five is nice in theory but on Turn 5 there is great chance that your opponent can trade into it on the first turn when He will still be a 0/7. I think this one is a dud. I don't see where that can fit anywhere. But I can be wrong.
Overall good feeling about it but still hoping we will see better and stronger cards than those.

So I missed the announcement, but I think I understand it all except for one thing, what's this about a free C'thun? Do you have to purchase packs with real money to get it or can you also use gold? And if real money is it like that TGT offer where you had to buy the 50 packs bundle to get the discount or can you buy only a couple and still get it?

Corrupted Healbot is the new best 5 drop in arena in terms of raw stats... the healing is not a big deal unless you're top decking late game.
I know they've said they're not going to buff any cards, but Novice Engineer should really be a 1/2 now when Gnomish Inventor is 2/4 and the new Polluted Hoarder is 4/2.
Also confusing presentation, I was under the impression that the old cards were going to change to new versions by the gods in some way when playing. Nothing about the whispers mechanic either, but maybe they will talk about it later this weekend.

You just log in during the promotion event and you get C'Thun + 3 card packs (or C'Thun might be in one of those packs).

Overall good feeling about it but still hoping we will see better and stronger cards than those. Gnomish Inventor is a far superior card to the new Loot Hoarder. her stat split is superior and her effect is a battlecry, meaing you draw the card earlier, she can't get silenced, and you can't risk your opponent making you overdraw. Doomsayer is absolutely terrible. regular Doomsayer either does the same for 2 mana or is far superior by actually going off, and in case you want to run this one in a board-centric deck, he still sucks cause he's horrible tempo and is also a BGH target. the healbot does seem very strong and i really like the idea behind that card.

Sounded like you get three packs when you log in during the promotional period (not announced yet). For C'thun, looks like you get it when you open a WoTOG pack.

Is it just me or is C'Thon going to be yet another OTK card that's going to be nerfed later on? I mean you could probably buff it enough so it becomes a 30/30 and it will kill the opponent with the battlecry alone. And if the enemy doesn't have an answer the minion itself will just seal the deal.

*They totally have names, actually. Meet C’Thun, N’Zoth, Yogg-Saron, and Y’Shaarj. Shake appendages. There! Now we’re all friends.
other legendaries confirmed

Besides, we already have a 10 mana clear board finisher card right now called Deathwing and it doesn't win the game by itself. Both die to BGH, both can be stopped with Taunt or removal, and C'thun can even be silenced.

Oh wow they literally just GIVE it to you for opening a pack, that's much more generous than I was expecting! I was expecting something like you only get it if you pre-purchase with the special offer so if you don't drop $50 on it you're immediately behind the rest of the world, but this is pretty awesome. Sincerely good job Blizzard.

Cthun looks awesome golden. They said in testing they got him to 20/20 pretty easily which is kinda worrying

That is probably the way that it appears to be balanced, though I wonder about the other cards not shown yet maybe having other interactions (like giving Cthun taunt or other Old God cards countering the buffs to Cthun).

silence in your hand isn't really that useful when you're dead from a 25dmg battlecry
