The weirdest part was that he didn't hesitate to Shapeshift and finish the 2/1 that spawned. Like it was all planned... I'm so confused right now.

![]() Yeah, I'm definitely going to hell for this draft, not two, not three, not even four, but FIVE swipes were offered to me in this draft (along with two Azure Drakes). I'm actually a little embarased I went 12-2 and not 12-0. This is also perhaps the only time where my entire draft has fit on one page too. Five Swipes, such skill! ![]()

Prizes were 450 gold and 20 dust for 12 wins and 280 gold and 90 dust for 10 wins. Got duplicate for every common cards from the packs but at least I got Lightning Storm for my shaman which I've missed and gold Patient Assassin from the 2nd pack

![]() I only saw a big gap the weeks after game went to open beta, and it's now settling down. Latest arenas 6 3 twice with not so remarkable mage & shaman decks, and 12 2 with a mage deck with no fireball and no sheep (but 3 flamestrikes, 3 loot hoarders, 3 dark iron dwarves, 3 water elementals, 1 yeti, and Teh BEAST) It was so unexpected that I didn't save the list, I would have bet on 6 - 8 wins beforehand. I had no direct damage spell besides a frostbolt. Game did have good tempo early / mid though (2 sorcerer's apprentices, 1 injured blademaster, 1 faerie dragon, 1 kirin tor mage) , so most of the time I was able to land early pressure and trade favorably until skillstrike to clear the way into lethal.

Incidentally, this has been my 23rd arena run--and I'm 23 years old--it has to mean something! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The rewards in the packs were underwhelming, sadly; six of them were duplicates, even though I don't have all that many cards unlocked. At least I got my brother to finally cease his bragging after his 12-2 run ;d

3rd loss is a loss where i had a horrible draw, even with mulligan and this mage has all the luck and all the combinations he needs, while i can only play fucking 1/1s the first 2 turns .... Fuck this shit. That game is now finally version 1.w/e and still plays like a fucking alpha. Its ridiculous how much gold i lost to these retarded bugs,

![]() it's really weird how shitty decks like these without any fire elementals can go 12 wins extremely 1 sided, while my druid deck with great curve and 5 swipes, starfall and 2 starfires, ancient of war and 3 druid of the claws went only 11 wins while struggling hard. i guess the worgen early game carried me because most of my opponents didnt play any 2 drop, ogres are good, but most of the time i didnt draw them or didnt do much to win.

I've found there's really no predicting how well a draft is going to do. I once drafted 3 legendary's (good ones too) and only got 5 wins, I also once had a Mage draft where my only spell was a single Polymorph, 12 wins. I think we just tend to remember the "God drafts" that get stopmed into the ground for whatever reason rather than the shitty drafts that somehow go 10+. *Edit* Also, in what reality would you really call 11 wins 'bad'? ![]()

Anyway, it had a weird curve with (I think) 11 4-drops including two sen'jins, two water elementals, one dark iron dwarf, one defender of argus, and one fireball. Only two 2-drop minions and only two 3-drop minions. It had really strong 5-7 drops with kodo, spiteful smith, sunwalker, stormwind champion, and antonidas. Plus a blizzard and 3 flamestrikes didn't hurt! Sadly, I was only able to get antonidas behind a taunt once but it was quite fun to just throw fireballs at everything he put out there. Lost to a really aggressive warrior deck that made a lot of silly mistakes, and I honestly don't remember the other loss.

Against my final opponent, a shaman, I managed to Thoughtsteal a Fire Elemental and an Earth Elemental. Things got funnier (for me) when I Cabal Shadow Priest a Flametongue Totem, though he managed to get rid of most of my threats one way or another. At one point, I had an Auchenai Soulpriest complementing my new friend the Earth Elemental. He manages to Mind Control Tech the Auchenai Soulpriest, to which I casually dismissed. Probably not the best idea; it turns out Ancestral Healing works wonders as an offensive tool when you have an Auchenai Soulpriest, which he used to obliterate my Earth Elemental. He went on to Windfury it, trading for two more minions, and giving himself the momentum to win the game. Not even mad; thoroughly impressed, actually, and had a great laugh along the way.

After this run, I have a vastly renewed respect for Knife Juggler and Mind Control Tech's potential. In the situations where MCT was in my first 10 cards drawn, only 1 of my 3 opponents have played around him - the other 2 were severely punished. With the assistance of Dragonling Mechanic and Razorfen Hunter, Knife Juggler threw 4 daggers into a lone Azure Drake - the chance of that happening was 1/16! You can find the picks at http://arenamastery.com/30cy. The picks I spent the most time on were numbers 7, 12, 15, 16, and 28. Worgen Infiltrator Acidic Swamp Ooze (2) Frostbolt (2) Knife Juggler Loot Hoarder Sorcerer's Apprentice Harvest Golem Mind Control Tech Razorfen Hunter Scarlet Crusader Defender of Argus Dragonling Mechanic Gnomish Inventor Water Elemental Darkscale Healer Gadgetzan Auctioneer Gurubashi Berserker Silver Hand Knight Stampeding Kodo Stranglethorn Tiger Argent Commander Boulderfist Ogre Sunwalker Flamestrike (3) Stormwind Champion Pyroblast

Decided to play mage as i really disliked the 2 others classes offered (Priest and Hunter). I got offered a total of 4 fireballs and 4 frostbolts, 1 blizzard and 2 flamestrikes. And 2 polymorphs. I had problems sleeping after that, because of the disgusting amount of nuke lol. The 12 win awarded me 1 pack and 400 gold lol.
