Four card drawing cards, 3 Flamestrikes, 18 cards pulled from my deck and I don't get any of them. At any time I pull a Flamestrike before going to 0 hit points and I win. So of course I never pull any. Fuck this Arena run.
for what it's worth, if you're going to run Nat Pagle, you need to accept that if he usually lives 3 turns, about 12.5% of the time he'll draw you no cards and your heart will fill with tears. that being said that sounds about as sad as when I play a mad bomber vs a worgren infiltrator and the bomber hits me 3 times (or 2 times, and the opponent once)
good job on that 12-0 run but man your playstyle would make me so mad. I hate it when people just hover some card for minutes without playing anything -_-

You could always just concede. :p Anyway... I often still play a card or two just to show what I was planning on my end had my opponent had the option of a good response the previous turn. As I simply play them quickly, it only adds an extra 2-3 seconds, and it is information I'd prefer to have on the opposite end rather than wonder what might have been had I gotten a better topdeck draw?

Yeah I can see how that would be annoying. Although at 11-0 you tend to start to take your time a bit more

Yep, I just left 2 games in a row because people play too slowly. I could have probably won both games but it would have been boring as fuck, and I cba with that.
Same with playing against the freeze mages, most boring thing in the world, I just conceded at the start against every single mage I met when it was popular :p.
As you can probably tell, I don't give a shit about my rank, record was 9 concedes in a row straight after mulligans to mages :D.

Yeah I can't connect either (Play works but then it times out).
Priest plays like utter shit. And I really mean it. He gets his shit baited, wastes his first mind control, my board is filled again one turn after his holy nova...
Doesn't matter. Fucker top deck 7 times. His thoughtsteal that gets him my truesilver champion in the late game can count as a 8th. When I play my mad bomber it backfires heavily in his favor. Yep. You can play like shit, it doesn't matter when you play the 2nd retard-proof class and just wait to luck it out.
I can handle a topdeck or two. I indeed start to wonder about the point of playing when it reaches 4+ and decides the whole game by itself, which happens surprisingly often.
Am drafting in arena atm. First 4-drop submitted to me (apart from the 2nd card, where the yeti wasn't the best one, and heck, it was the 2nd card) is the... 25th card. D'you smell that? I end up with 3 4-drops in the draft, because I chose a master of disguise over a better one who was only a 2-drop at the end. Sigh. Note that it didn't include a single Assassinate either. It's the second rogue draft in a row to pull that one on me.
First game? I lose, for a single HP. And because the other guy had iceblock to get the turn necessary to burn that last one HP from me with his power. He also had twice the elemental to freeze my hero, and 4 freeze spells to prevent me from hitting. Since I also had 0 taunt, even with board control I was taking massive HP hits to the face. Meanwhile the shit fuck deck "granted" to me having no lategame means that I can't try to finish the game because he slipped up and showed me he had flamestrike, so I couldn't fill the board. He ended up not using it because I never had more than 3 minions. But I couldn't play the others since I only have 3 minions with more than 4 HP in the deck. Another case of "hey look, I'll give you utter shit to draft, then put you against a deck that has exactly what fucks you hard, just to show you how shit that draft was and how it's costing you games".

Shit happens dude. I had a 10 win run yesterday with Mage because of flamestrike/blizzard/fireball x2 (because let's be honest, mage removal is fucking retarded, I'm not very good at HS) and two of the three games I lost were arguably out of my control. 1st one was because I never drew ANY of my board removal against Shaman. Never happened in any of my other games. 2nd one was because a Priest thoughstole/cabal spriest/etc my entire deck (including flamestrikes and ysera). 3rd one I forget but was probably my fault.
It's all about consistency in the end, and even though arguably 2 of my 3 losses were out of my control (which I could even be wrong about there), the third loss was very much my fault and if I was better it would have been 12 wins.
Although I suppose I do relate to you somewhat with drafting woes...I've been playing HS for 2 months-ish, done countless arena drafts and I have NEVER, even once, SEEN a Pyroblast in a draft. Not given the choice to pick up a Pyroblast and turned it down, the option has NEVER even been presented to me.
Thing is, you've got 2 games out of your control. With such shitty drafts (I've detailed more than one in this thread or the arena one) I'm lucky to have 2 games where I have a semblance of control. I can't even feel like I played badly: I usually play the single one thing I can in most situations.
I'm given such shit choices that even though I hear everywhere that Rogues give Mages trouble, Mage is the single worst class for my runs or in general. Heck, I lose most of my life to minions hits even when I fight spell-oriented mage decks in arena, just because my drafts are utter shit.
See, the 2nd match was against a mage with double Argent Commander (the 4/2 charge divine shield). It's a mage. I've been given a bunch of 1 health minions for my early. He's got arcane thingy for 3 random damage and his hero power so I can't maintain board control to save my life unless I attack his 3/2 and 3/1 with my hero, and it's more "keep the board clean" than "have board control". Then I've shit for 4 drops, he has flamestrike, I have no lategame, I autolose early game to his power and spells, so I autolose the game. Was truly thrilling to "play" that one out.

I think I'ma start streaming more HS when I get home in a few days; maybe we can get the TLLOLOTGD crew to come hang out and give tips/advice and stuff and you and I can learn some stuff.
I definitely understand where you're coming from but especially since trying to climb the ladder in LoL I'm of the attitude that for the most part if you're losing, it's your own fault for whatever reason---so it's probably in our best interests to learn why.
