Especially with decks where I have very few ways of removing a creature outright. I've had several priests do this to me using those Gurobashi (sp?) Berserker things aided with 1-2 taunted minions. Really sucks when your insta-kill cards don't show up for a long time.

So they're either too lazy to open that many packs again, or are saving it for arena runs.

My QQ : Playing against a mage in arena, I have total board control by turn 6 but he fires 4 fireball in my face, gg by turn 7.

And I also don't feel offended by other people doing this. I just think they really wanted to say that.

I just think they really wanted to say that. Sometimes someone wants to say something like 'Good Luck' and just choose the closest thing they have. Kind of strange how they chose some of the emotes... 'Thank you' is super situational (after a "sorry", certain 'well played' or opponent's misplay only?)

Sorry>wellplayed(when you're going to kill them) Silence I've tried all 3, although silence is generally reserved for bullshit.

Thing is, it's not necessarily an offensive GG, because unlike Starcraft the majority of HS games end when one player pulls a trick out to beat you, rather than you conceding. In other similar games I play, it's the same way, you say GG right before you're about to win otherwise there's no chance to say that (yes HS gives you time to state a last minute emote, but it's a really short window). I guess it's best to wait until you reveal the killing blow to say GG, then you'd avoid the are "you conceding or about to kill me" moment?

I focus way too hard on making a even mana curve and not enough about what the deck lacks I have done only a few Arena runs and have gotten either 4 or 5 (mostly 5). If you draft purely to this guide (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=430203) or the other ones like it (they are mostly the same); I think you would get the same results. Most games I placed were fairly close until 4 or 5 wins and then you end up playing some crazy deck and it makes me wonder how someone got such good cards in arena or that they must have a crazy good draw (b/c I doubt my deck had a chance at all). I saw Hunter decks that were nearly OTK and crazy Priest decks that looked nearly identical to their constructed counter-parts.

I just drafted this 4 polymorph + 4 flamestrike deck, pretty sure that beats constructed even with mediocre creatures (I actually came across 6 polys, but had to draft bigger creatures after realizing there arent enough dmg). To people who think arena takes more skill, try playing against this. It's basically a faceroll 9-0. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=433055¤tpage=3#56 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=433055¤tpage=3#57

Why in this thread though?

I can't really post imba decks I play against since I don't have a full list. Since I got lucky once, this will serve as an example for what's wrong with the current format.
