No because I generally play a control deck, which only works against 8 classes

Had a major screw up which definitely cost me the game. Went second, turn 2 accidentally hit Call Totem instead of Coin->Feral Spirit.
A Mage facing a Healing Stream Totem on turn 3 isn't quite the same as two 2/3 Taunts staring you down with support to follow. Ugh. Entire game was downhill from there due to the complete loss of any tempo and board presence.
Cut me deep.

Urgh, just wanted a nice Arena-Run to call it a day. Feel evil and pick priest. Get the worst draft ever, no SW: Pain, no holy nova. 3 BAD 2s bunch of good 4s and 5s and that's it. Go 0-3 for the first time in arena. Cry myself to sleep. From now on, no more dark side for me.

rng with shaman totem is terrible. Sometimes I draw the wrath purely by luck and win the game, and other times I cannot get it to come out for life of me.
Or worse, getting searing totem against mage over and over.
I don't care how much they nerf the totem or changes the way its summoned, just make it predictable.

I agree. The Shaman class is incredibly gimmicky right now.
That 'dust devil' - the 3/1 windfury for 1 (overload 2) is an extremely powerful turn 1 against hunter, warrior, warlock, or priest IF they don't happen to get a 2-drop. It's bad against paladin, druid, rogue, mage, and sometimes shaman.
Quality of the deck doesn't matter, quality of the play doesn't matter. Cards like that are just a roll of the dice 100% of the time.

One of my arena games last night, we both play a couple mad bombers. His hit my hero for 3 damage each. Mine hit my minions & my hero...stupid RNG.

Playing Shaman has to be the most depressing. At least, that's what it feels like to me.

Shaman is by far the worst class to play if you only have basic cards. :<
|
The lack of any real spells is pretty poor. I still don't have a single overload spell in my Shaman collection, aside from wolves. Not sure what they were thinking there. Then again i played a Shaman a lot during WoW so maybe i do know what they were thinking. hint: not thinking.

wow i suck at arena hard to those stupid big creatures no matter what i do at early game, should i just pick all those 6 drop or above only?? lol

I've had 2 arena runs ended by deathwing when the other player was top decking with nothing on the board and only enough health to last 2-3 turns.
Shit hurtssssssssssssss

Getting tired of facing mages in arena, feels like 2/3s of the games are against mages now.
I like playing against priests though. They do get lucky draws sometimes but usually it feels like one of the easier opponents. Maybe because I never play or get to draft anything worth mind controlling.

the thing with priest is against them you are fucked late game but atleast u can rush them or counter with things like 4attack monsters, aggro decks etc (still kinda annoying cuz they limit options for other classes), while vs mage you are just fucked no matter what you do

Ragnaros, ysera and Jaraxxus sucks...
Yeah. I have Ysera and Rag but these 3 legendaries are waaayy too stronger then others. Other legendaries can be dealt with someway but these two are really killing the variaty of hearthstone. How? Lets look other legendaries.
Gruul: 8 mana 8/8 minion with growth. You can deal with it removal or direct 8 damage. If you don't use removal you can handle with 2 cards Alextrasza: 9 mana 8/8 minion with battlecry. Some Mage decks use it. But its battlecry can handle. Not way too strong. Malygos: 9 mana 4/12 minion +5 spellpower. Spell power decks can use of it. But after silence its just 4/12 Black knight, Slyvanas, Cairne etc. are strong too. Their effects are really fine but not unstopable. You can silence. At least you can trade somewhat closer to 1-1
But these ysera, rag and jaraxxus come with instant big effects. Rag can destroy a minion, (or free 8 damage. A mage spend 8 mana and 1 card to deal 10 damage.) Ysera has dream cards and Jaraxxus has 3/8 weapon and potencial 14 healing. Its getting boring playing against same cards.
Btw.. As you can see people starting to get more useful legendaries. Like Sylvanas, cairne, black knight. I think after sometime we're going to see players with 4-5 legendaries vs rush type decks.

Except priest has Northshire Cleric, which makes a huge difference in what you can play turn 1-3. Don't have a 3 attack drop to get out early? Enjoy not being able to do anything. The moment you do, the priest can play their next turn using 2 mana to deal 1 damage and draw a card (attack with the Cleric non-fatally and card draw).
Priest is less consistent than mage, but fuck me if you get behind against a priest there is just no recovery, and they have so many ways to get ahead. Got into a game on my Paladin earlier where the Priest had NSC turn 1, SWP'd my Ooze and PW:S next turn to have a source of card draw I just could not handle with my opening hand.
The problem snowballs from there; you give a priest card draw and they get all their efficient clearance spells and take board control through card advantage, or you give up board control and you get screwed over through powerful creatures. It is the combination of this: card draw, strong creatures, strong removal that makes priest so strong. Aggro mage right now can play more consistently and uniformly, but a priest getting the right cards can just leave you helpless; and that's a really godawful feeling.

Sigh, yet another arena game lost because I never get any 2 drops.
