Anyone else interested in tracking number of rares/epics they get in each arena draft? TheYango posited it as a metric for how well the draft will do and so far it seems to be holding up for me. | ||

Yesterday I've finished a run with 8-3 (after going 4-2 against that double Grommash Hellscream warrior... I still can't believe it) and received an epic, rare and a foil. Today, I went 7-3 and got yet another epic, rare & foil. Coincidence or did you guys witness something similar? | ||

The arena run can influence the rarity of cards that are a reward for the arena, but not the one's in the pack. | ||

Druid has nothing until Starfall and even then 2 damage won't clear vs Zoo (Swipe is useless vs it), so I think it's an inevitably bad match-up. | ||

It is not super easy, but personally I've had pretty good success against aggro decks by putting in: A Healing Touch (I hate the card, but have to admit it wins me games), an Earthenring Farseer, and 2 Wild Pyromancer. Wild pyromancer works with Swipe and Starfall to be board wipers, and can really help you out in a pinch. The best synergy IMO is Wild Pyromancer + Wrath for a sort of mini-Swipe. Aside from that I still have 2 Tazdingo, 2 Druid of the Claw, 2 Keeper of the Grove, and even a Stampeding Kodo and an Ancient of War. Another thing I do which I think really helps against aggro decks is keeping Druid of the Claw at the start instead of tossing it. I will pretty much always have a 4 mana play to slow them down, and Druid of the Claw is the play I want to make on turn 5 all the time, so I keep it. Dunno if that's standard, as people generally toss anything that costs more than 4 in their opening hand, so I thought I'd mention it. Good luck! But seriously, Wild Pyro + Wrath. I can't stress how good it feels to do this. "Do you like to play with fire?" Yes, yes I do. Let me know how it works for you. I'm also a fan of Wild Pyromancer in my Priest control deck, in combination with Holy Smite (3 mana Swipe), Power Word: Shield (in a pinch), and is just fun in general with Northshire Cleric, Acolyte of Pain, and Holy Nova or Circle of Healing.
