I just thought a bit about this situation. Should be clear what happened, I coind my Knife Juggler, he plays his Novices and I killed the Knife Juggler and plays the Argent Protector. Now I was thinking, are there situations where it would be better to attack after casting the shield.
The only thing I came up was Earthshock (ofc not vs Rogue) and Owl + Heropower (vs Rogue, Druid, Mage, but who runs Owls^^). Its safe to say shield and 3/1 is way better than 3/2 without shield, right?
There's also that 3/3 divine shield eater.

Absolutely. Usually it's better to play your shield offensively, but against a Rogue that was the best play.

hey guys! I just got my heartstone key and and I am still pretty wet behind the ears. I have been playing a lot already, concentrating on mage a bit. I realize, however, that I need cards! I mean cards dont make you good, but you need certain cards to play on a higher level, so my question is: is the only way to get good in hearthstone to buy packs? Because getting 10 gold for every 3 wins is kind of a slow process if you need 100 to buy a pack.

as a fellow wet-ear (?) in HS I will say that I just wait 3 days for my daily quests to rack up and knock them out at once. Even going 1/3 or 2/3 in arena guarantees a pack/dust or pack/gold minimum for just 150 gold. The ranked grind is not worth at all unless you only need the 10 or 20 gold to afford an arena.
And trying to rise through the ranks in ranked as a newbie is the most painful shit ever since even the simplest of combos will destroy you because your starting cards are trash. On the other hand if you feel like spending the moneys then go ahead. just my 2 cents

Alright, thanks for tip ! I still can't play arena since I don't have the warrior yet
I think my deck is already quite okay for the amout of packs I had. I just checked the internet and tried to get the most out of it, I am stuck at lvl 19 though.
What do the others think?

I noticed a legendary card Kyle Harrison on some wikis. But I've never seen this card on streams and it looks OP. Is this a real card, or did the wiki just have some old alpha version that's not in the actual game?
Also, I've never seen Warglaive of Azzinoth is that not legit as well?

I don't know anything about it's history, but it's 100% not in game now.

Many items that are the names of devs are not real.
Warglaive of azzinoth's wiki probably is incorrect. Should only be available to Illidan during the tutorial.

So I'm in an Arena draft, having chosen Druid. I get to choose between Cenarius, Nat Pagle and The Beast. Which one should I take?

Yeah, my suggestion is don't buy packs, buy arena access. Because in arena, you don't have any disadvantage from not having cards, and if you are good enough you can actually go infinite. If not, it is still more cost efficient than buying cards in pretty much any situation unless you go 0/3. Which, if you watched a few streams before, shouldn't really happen.
If you play only one arena per day and get the daily done, 4-5 wins should be enough to go infinite. If you play more, 6-7 wins are needed. And a 10-12 win run can easily net you +200g after costs.
Plus Arena is a lot more fun then building a deck with no cards.
So just unlock that warrior, do one match vs AI or something like that.

Can someone explain why Antonidas is a legendary? The cards has lost me games by just taking up card space in my deck, is there are any realistic scenarios/ decks where he's a good card? I got him in a pack and I'm kind of sad how bad he turned out to be (bad stats, easily killable, needs you to have loads of cheap spells to use his active which you need to survive earlier, gets killed before he's useful if you play him on 7 and even when you manage to get the combo off extra fireballs isnt really that good unless you've already whittled the opponent down a lot).
I also don't really get arcane intellect, 3 mana to get 2 cards seems expensive when there's 2 mana minions that give you one?
Also, I've been really puzzled on how to play cards like gadgetzan auctioneer, azure drake and ogre magi and get some value out of them. They always seem to be sniped by argent commanders. Should I revolve my early game around strong defensive taunt creatures? It feels like I want to be agressive early game to get my opponent low for pyroblast but once I start using spells to burn my opponent I lose board control. I'm new to card games so I don't get it lol.

once i mind controled antonidas and won the game with fireballs you mad

For every newbies like me, it's kinda hard to get a decent run... Hell even after playing like 10 arenas, my runs mostly ended up with like 6 or 7 loses with 0-3 or 1-3 stats... I got only 1 arena with 5 wins and 1 with 4... I just don't get it. >_<

If a minion with enrage is revived by Redemption (Secret: When one of your minions dies, return it to life with 1 Health.), is it enraged?
|
btw what do you get out of arena? do you get dust or gold based on how many wins you achieved before losing the third time? and also what is the skill level increasment? do the opponents get better with each win or is it random?

lol I didn't know you can unlock characters like that :D I thought you have to win ranked against the class to get it and I kept losing against warriors.

should play one practice game against all the classes on normal and expert for ez free gold.

I'm just never in a situation where he doesn't get taken down instantly next turn unless I was already winning the game. What kind of deck do you see him working in? I feel it's really hard to have a bunch of low cost spells in your deck when you need to save them for lategame. When you draw arcane missiles, mana wyrm and mirror image, should I save them all game till I can use them with Antonidas? I could flood my deck with 1 and 2 cost minions in the hopes of saving those spells, but it makes my draw problems even worse.
