Also silence and argent squire.

Also they are better when you draw them in the late game

loot hoarders are rare novice engineers are basic loot hoarders are generally much better
silence and argent squire are the only times nearly that they are better. Loot hoarder trades evenly with 2/1's 3/2's and 1/1's. Novice engineer trades well only with 1/1's and 2/1's
also theres only like owls (which even if you use to silence only trade 1 for 1) and spell breakers that silence from minions, and usually you want to use them vs like blessing of kings or something.
getting to trade 1 for 1 with loot hoarder means its as good as a free card anyway, because usually novice engineers die for basically nothing
mages are the main class you don't want loot hoarders vs
oh, novice engineers are pretty good with priest if you have SSC or somethign to buff them to 2/3 and then heal to full but even then 3/2's beat them

Loot horder gets its cards a turn late which decreases their value since a card now is better than a card later. Novice engineer is fine.

only mage druid and rogue have pings though everyone else needs to use a card or maybe pally minion (or AoE but that kills 2 hp minions too)
novice engineers can be a bit better later because you get the card instantly but earlier hoarders are way better

Just wondering, is there any way to see your total amount of wins (including the games vs AI)? I used to play quite a lot of games vs. the AI and a friend of mine likes to play a few games as well when he's visiting me.
I'm mainly interested in it because I'm getting close to the 1k win achievement, which could give me another 300 gold after all.

Quest log only covers your (un-/)ranked and arena wins, but I'm actually interested in a total win count as I've played a lot of games vs. AI as well. As far as I'm concerned they're included in the 1k win achievement, and I've played easily like 150-ish games vs. AI.

What's the best site to get quick info about cards, decks, etc.? Like a wiki thing? I've seen others that are decent but seem to be outdated sometimes.

How do you get dust and/or gold? I've been playing a couple days, and I've been managing to get a few commons at a slow rate. I have no idea how people can get epic or legendary cards since they cost so much dust. What do people do to farm up?

The two fast ways are to drop some cash or to be really good and go infinite in arena (7+ wins on average every time) to get packs for free. Do the daily every day and check out the guide to getting started (six steps to an ultimate deck) posted in the article portal. A good short-term goal would probably be to improve your arena game and work on getting ~5 wins every time which will let you run around 1 a day with the gold you earn.

Arena. It's a gold efficient way to get packs, gold, and dust.
Some people will disagree with this advice but I suggest picking one class, look up a decent deck for that class, and disenchant all the cards that don't fit into that deck. That'll get you a deck to play constructed with more quickly.
If you don't spend money on the game, don't expect to get any legendaries anytime soon (and if you get one in a pack it'll probably be a weaker one). As an anecdotal example, I have 530 games played (between play mode and arena), total level 225, and I only just crafted my second. I got one in a pack and disenchanted it, crafted Tirion Fordring and Sylvanas so far.

Has Blizzard ever said anything about adding 2v2 to hearthstone?

Does anyone know an update arena tier list? I know Monk and Krip made tier lists a while back, but the game has been patched a couple of times since then and those spreadsheets haven't been updated.

i mean they arent free anyway just lost to a rogue because there was no way to card efficiently get rid of 2 loot hoarders, 2 novice engineers and a gnomish gngineer and losing card advantage = gg
i guess he got a bit lucky to draw that but seriously coin+hoarder into your hero ability kills any 2 point thing you can put down cost effectively for free

I just thought a bit about this situation. Should be clear what happened, I coind my Knife Juggler, he plays his Novices and I killed the Knife Juggler and plays the Argent Protector. Now I was thinking, are there situations where it would be better to attack after casting the shield.
The only thing I came up was Earthshock (ofc not vs Rogue) and Owl + Heropower (vs Rogue, Druid, Mage, but who runs Owls^^). Its safe to say shield and 3/1 is way better than 3/2 without shield, right?

My blog/site always has up to date arena tier lists and meta ranks since I update them after each patch. You can find pretty much any guide you want. Currently working on a series that teaches people to make their own constructed decks instead of relying on other people's decks.
You can find it here.
