I found on another thread, uses paypal, but I haven't bought one myself.
I too would like a place to buy a G1, it's just impossible to find on google.
Got one from there, was pretty legit.. arrived 7 days after I ordered it. 50$ really isn't bad considering how often you'll use it and how much easier it is than having someone ship one over for you.
I dont know, my friend lent me his while he went on vacation, haven't asked for it since. It feels really good on the fingers, when you press down on it, it doesn't go too low so you can't press the 2nd button like 1a2a. It has some sort of special feeling to it that makes it worth 10-15$ but definately not 50$. If anyone out there that has a dt35, tell me if you have problems sending units pressing 1a2a3a, but having only 2 groups go out to attack. idk if its my computer or my keyboard(on usb) that's having this problem..

lol.. i paid $6 or $7, $50 is pure rip-off not matter how often u use it.

its u and ur misclicks id assume. mine works fine, try to avoid misclicks while typing very fast, 1a-mouse1, 2a-mouse1, 3a-mouse1. u probably typed too fast and didnt make clean actions with keyboard/mouse
oh, sorry if i raised hope.. bought it in korea some years ago. i dunno if its available outside of korea. nevertheless paying $50 for this is hardly fair; it goes by $5 in shops. imo its not worth 10x the usual price. better ask some korean friend to send it to you; i assume its cheaper this way but still quite expensive.
lol at paying $50 for a $5 keyboard. Half the reason progamers like it is because it's so cheap and replaceable. And even getting it at a non ridiculous price you will get killed by shipping costs cause they don't make them here.
I understand getting a gaming mouse, or a gaming keyboard if you want the macro stuff and whatnot, but going out of the way to buy a cheap keyboard at an exorbitant price completely defeats half the purpose of the keyboard
I have a practically new G1 i'll sell for $20 shipped (continental America). I bought it to replace my aging MX300 but ended up hating it. I also have a ~new 1st gen razer diamondback for the same price.
PM me if interested.
EDIT: I also have 3 Evoluent ergonomic mice I want to get rid of. If you could get good with one of these it would be pretty pimp!

so seriously, whats the damn difference between the dt-35 and other standard design keyboards other than people are making it sound you'll magically become gosu if your using it? Im using a pleomax(read as: samsung keyboard making department) and was wondering, they're both basically from the same company except that one is just harder to find, so is there any MAJOR difference between the two?
Notice the samsung logo on the top right?
If anyone has ever used a pleomax keyboard and a dt-35, I seriously want someone to tell me the difference between the two.
i wonder what u expect from the keyboard. srsly besides the gay ergonomic keyboards there are keyboards with high keys and keyboards with flat keys. ive always used some ancient microsoft keyboard that comes with the computer and i cant feel a difference to any other keyboard with high keys.
The DT35 blows. I highly doubt every single progamer uses it, and if they do they're just being copy tools (like me that ended up buying one).
#1 the keyboard's bottom is way too high on the back, so unless you're used to your keyboard going up at an angle, you're going to hate this.
#2 the keys on it are the highest I've EVER SEEN on a keyboard and take way too much effort to press down, causing finger fatigue.
It's your standard 5$ bargain bin keyboard. I could probably find three of these in a dumpster in the back of Walmart. Seems like they've become a fad simply because Korean pros use them. I was hoping it was going to be something compact like my old keyboard http://www.lowerpricestoday.com/products/images/10038906.jpg (not made anymore and all sold out everywhere, so I'm fucked). Turns out it's a big clunky piece of shit.
P.S. Artosis apparently likes the keyboard, but coming from someone who lived in an attic and then flew to fucking Asia to make videos about a PC game to get free rice (with cabbage!), I'm not sure you should care.
I really like the DT-35. I think it's a solid keyboard, though I don't find it much better than this Dell:
I have a PLEOMAX PKB-7000X but find it worse than the above 2. It's too stiff and the keys have a little more travel:
There's also another Samsung keyboard (non PLEOMAX) that I have but can't remember the model right now. It came out after the DT-35 and I'd rank it as good as the Dell. It has a silver trim and black keys. It looks similar to this:
Now I use a Lenovo 73P2620 keyboard but I'm not sure if I'll stick with it or go back to the DT-35:
Before u guys buy g1 consider the following. If you have sweaty hands or palm your mouse, it won't be a good idea. I've been using G1 since it first came out in Korea. I bought it via g-market(paid about $30 shipping to US). The top plastic is a shiny plastic and it will stick really well and gets very uncomfortable even with a little humidity. You should try g3 instead which they sell in US and it has less shiny plastic surface.

A bunch of them do though, so there is obviously something good about it.
I like my angled keyboard (my struts broke off thats why I need a new one).
High keys are good, plus I hear that they are quieter. You probably just needed to break the keys in (i've used someone's briefly and had no problem with the stiffness).
I don't think it is the same as any random keyboard that comes shipped with a commercial computer. 90% of these suck and have all this addon bullshit that I would never use.
I have a Nexxtech Multimedia Keyboard. It's nice, I might go back to my old standard Logitech keyboard though. There is a lot of floating space around the keys.
I want to get a new keyboard thats cheap (<20$) and has no media, volume, etc crap on it. However it can't be like a piece of shit Can anyone recommend me one?

Well, if you're in Korea right now can't you just pick up the DT35? It's certainly not a piece of shit.
If not, go for the Dell keyboard that someone recommended here. There's also the older Dell Quietkey which is apparently a great KB for Starcraft.

there are so many keyboard threads here on tl.net it's not even funny. I'll go ahead and recommend the IBM model M, but anyone who wants it is forced to know where to look for it.
its a normal, plain keyboard, definitely not worth paying 50 bucks for. just get a generic dell keyboard, i used those before i got here and they feel pretty much the same.
wearing jordans ain't gonna make you as quick or as slick as jordan himself.
even the cheapest will get you where you want to go and should you break it, no sweat. i've seen people spend hours cleaning every nook and cranny of their precious boards and mice--god forbid you spill something on it, you'll never hear the end of: "do you know how much this cost me? blah, blah, blah..." rinse, repeat.
I have another question though: I know a less than godlike keyboard doesn't make much difference in gaming (Unless you're playing Gunz lawl 400+ APM) but will a standard mouse limit my gameplay significantly? I'm using this one atm http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105026 I had a G5 but this new mouse is damn sexy imo
Looks aren't everything. Full n-key rollover. The steelseries KB is one of three I know of that has it. If you don't know what it is or need it, go with the cheaper one for sure. But the steelseries is priced the same as the other two I know of with that feature. It's also got high quality mechanical switches instead or a membrane. Typists love Cherry switches. Again, not going to be the sort of thing everyone pays extra for. There's a reason it costs what it does, but that's not the same thing as saying I'd recommend everyone get one.
Oh, and since SEM DT-35s are a bitch to find on google, or really find any supplier outside of Asia, if you want to get one just look it on on frooogle (google's shopping search engine, try SAMSUNG DT-35 and SEM DT-35 ) I got mine form Alan Computertech international, I ordered it last Friday and got it today (wednesday) with basic ground UPS shipping. With shipping (I live in california) and tax, it ended up being 24 bucks in total so yeah.
yea I already posted that link, sounds way overpriced like these other sites. There has to be some other way. Shit I'll even pay someone in korea to get me one from a store and pay all the shipping and shit.
i have one right now with me that i can sell if. Dont know if you're interested with a used one. And since i am in us right now it will be a lot cheaper sending it from here to where you are.
Samsung DT-35 Keyboards: StarCraftMecca has contacted multiple suppliers about this keyboard (the one used by Pro Gamers in Korea) and making bulk purchases. With our estimation, Samsung DT-35 keyboards will most likely be available sometime around mid to late April.

where is this quoted from?
edit-wtf when i google it, it takes me to a TL page that you started. When I move my cursor over any of TL i Get a little [x] where the finger icon is for the cursor. Then the finger comes back when I move out of it or go to the ad?????

Can you get a new one or me for $25? I'll pay you $30 and for the shpping to california if u can...
This has prolly been said before but there is someone from this sight ordering these en-masse at the moment and reselling them to the TL community I think it's kOre. =o

Ya I'm aware of this but I dont want to wait until mid-late april for a keyboard when I'm in desperate need for one now.. I use one of those slightly curved keyboards and it suckssss

I would like to get my hands on one if possible! My friend ordered one from GMARKET and it never came through
IMO you're wasting 50 bucks, i've got a 5-USD dell keyboard as do many good starcraft players. Day[9] uses one, Tasteless uses a DT-35 ask one of them if they have a preference. But i dont even remotely think its worth it. This is what i have. :D

I'm betting this guy is trolling because it is indeed very fucking hard to find one of these online for a bearable price. Where do you find them for 25$ in the US?

but I guess I probably got scammed since noone has mentioned this..
did you check the tax+shipping rates after that 30$? yea it comes out to about 60$
and btw, this has been mentioned like 20 times in this thread, including the op..
LOL i just noticed i paid 60$ wow O_o i hope its a decent keyboard at least
I was thinking about ordering from that site like a year ago and reading some reviews of the site lead me to quite a few reviews that stated that they never got the stuff they ordered or it came like a half a year late.
Lol a good keyboard is not a Samsung DT-35. I can almost grantee they bought that keyboard because it was cheep and effective. Just like every other $5 dell keyboard you can get from wall mart.
good because it has Cherry keyboard switches in it. Could also just buy a good Cherry keyboard for 1/4th the price and it'll be of the same quality
Link to a cherry keyboard for 1/4 of the price? I'm looking to replace my G15 version 2 with a nice cherry keyboard, but the DT-35 is gross IMO because of the tiny backspace key (MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF HATRED FOR TINY BACKSPACE KEY) ...but i'd rather not drop $150 also, does anyone know if an IBM model M ghosts a lot?
I'm thinking about buying a mechanical keyboard, but I haven't had any experience with them and they're very hard to find in Australia so I can't test one either. Can anyone with a mechanical keyboard comment on their advantages over normal keyboards?

i found the mechanical keyboard im typing on at the local dump , cost $1 they are just better build quality and more tactile feedback i occasionally put in my old membrane keyboard if im playing later at night because this thing is so damn noisy

interesting video, what is this from? PS- Apparently the Logitech Mini Opti Mouse is discontinued in Korea? Pretty sure this mouse is still for sale everywhere here. and Kingdom mentioned that they go for like 100$ on auction sites, wtf?

These are also discontinued here but I've seen them go for around $20 on ebay which is not worth it at all. I've gotten two football ones for around $7 on ebay but they were very hard to find.
...which uses PayPal so I feel safe. Paid $69.79 shipped to Utah, USA! Am I a sucker or what! Kind of bought it as a joke on my buddy, telling him a korean pro keyboard will make me better. I'm pretty sure the best explanation Ive read thus far is "its cheap in Korea so its easily replaceable thats why gamers love it" because, lets face it, most gamers are pretty broke so cheap stuff rules!
Hasn't come yet. I'll post some picks and a review once it does and I play with it.
For those who will buy this in Korea the original maker spun off from Samsung Electronics and is QSenn. Pretty satisfying keyboard but people complain it rather is loud.
2007 is pretty good place to start for those two items. sAviOr and weird american rock playing between games restreamed at 320p if lucky at 4 am in the morning. + Show Spoiler +
G1 mouse is old and flawed there are plenty of mice that have great tracking, Mionix Avior 7000/Naos 7000, SteelSeries Rival, Corsair M45, Logitech G502 all latest and greatest sensors from pixart with flawless tracking. Outside of that Logitech G100s is cheap and great tracking and readily available, very similar to G1 in shape and style just flat out better sensor.
as far a keyboard those old cheap keyboards from samsung were used because they were given away and keyboard don't matter much, the just use them for a couple weeks and get another one because they beat them to hell. You'd be fine with any decent membrane keyboard that didn't cost 5 dollars or come with your computer 5 years ago.
I have a white ps/2 Qsenn DT-35 from korea bought on amazon. These keyboards are cheap, waterproof, and are the keyboards that are going to last. I have many memories with my keyboard. I would recommend getting a qsenn over a mechanical is you are a rough one like I am. I get a little fired up some times and I take my keyboard everywhere so its nice that it is light and not going to bust if I drop it. If you want quality in typing +gaming this keyboard is not for you it is more about durability price and knowing it will be there for you. Great back up or lan keyboard.
