I'm from America, and I can agree with his statement. 9/11 was a horrible event, but look at simple statistics. Heart disease causes the same amount of deaths as 9/11 every 36 hours.

It wasn't until my 5th period gym class that you saw how fucked the whole situation was. I'm in Jersey, about a stone's throw away from NYC (actually going there tonight for a friend's bday. He's Arabic and born on 9/11. Talk about shit luck) and we're outside and you can see the skyline just covered in thick, black smoke. People are crying, calling relatives to see that they're ok (I think my city had a total of 8 people die in it, very lucky, considering we have a very large population that works in the city) The worst was after school got out. I live near two ghettos that have a large Arabic population. My neighbor at work owns a Arabic nuts store and he got his window smashed, death threats, etc. There was rumors of arabs cheering in the streets there and there gang fights, white, black, spanish vs arabs. Chaos. Really never seen anything like that day, and hopefully, never will again.

Anyway, I was in 8th grade at the time and I was listening to the radio while being driven to school and I heard them talking about it, I didn't really know what to think till I got to my first class and saw the news on TV. We spent the whole time talking/watching news about it, honestly, I felt the event was distant for me because I didn't know anyone affected by it.

and since i m not american and didnt know anyone that could have possibly have been there, ya the whole event felt pretty distant to me too. besides, 2 buildings fell apart... that doesnt sound like a big deal to me. imo, having 2 fewer buildings and 3k few ppl on this planet happens every year. imo, rather than invading some middle east country, all those man power and money could have been better spent else where. besides, by virtue of getting into this war on terror, theres been more americans killed, and many more to die, after 9/11 than those died on 9/11. i think the american gov has inflicted more damage on america than bin laden did.

i get home, and find out my dad was evacuated from his office, where he could literally see the smoke from the pentagon where he was, and they asked me if I heard what had happened. turns out the next day, my neighbor who was a friend of mine at the time, his mom died at the pentagon, and his parents were divorced, and he had no idea what happened because the school told him there were lightning storms, and he didn't turn on the t.v. didn't find out what happened to his mom until the next day.

Before you jump bandwagon at me, read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods You have to understand that US is a nation that has to have war one way or another to survive. USA has long history of fabricating evidences and manufacturing misleading events in order to justify the war. Just look at how bush attacked Iraq with WMD and Hussein- Laden connection which later are proved fradulent. Lately bush administration got busted for falsely linking death of US soldiers to weapons supplied by Iranian government. Sadly it won't be long until Iran gets attacked by US. I think US is behind a lot of the events that are perceived as terrorist activities by rest of the world. It's very co-incidental how and when these events take place, for example when Germany openly opposed the idea of war against Iraq, there is hostage taking in German embassy in Iraq which sways the minds of the German public. There was a fair amount of conspiracy theories that the US was behind the event. When there was a massive anti-war demonstration that took place in France, soon after French oil tanker that was stationed in Port Yemen gets bombed supposedly by Al Queda. When there was a strong anti war sentiment among Australian public, BOOM! there goes Bali bombing where 50% of the death consists of Aussie clubbers. How fucking convenient? I won't go into the Bali bombing conspiracy at this point but do your research and draw individual conclusion about the event. and there's 9/11... which US comfortably concludes soon after that Bin Laden is behind the attack and launches attack on Afganistan for it. + Show Spoiler + Watch from part 1 ~9. Even BBC recently did a docu on the subject questioning the official statement released by the government surrounding 9/11. Japanaese Councilor questioned the 911 at the House of Councillors in the national paliament for good 30 minutes and attacks government support for war + Show Spoiler + It's also ironic that the terrorist activities are usually practiced by very organisations that the US government has been funding and supporting both directly and indirectly. All these bullshit terrorist propaganda and axis of evil campaign is comical to me. It's also very evident that the US is not capable of serving as a arbitratior of world conflicts as they're the one fuelling and encouraging the chaos for national benefit. I don't blame them though, had it been Russia or China as world dominant power, it wouldn't have been much different. Poll: 9/11. Act of terror or an inside job by US? (Vote): Act of terrorism (Vote): Inside job by US (Vote): I am confused

A better comparison would be how many people die in Darfur or how many battles happen on the Gaza Strip every day. Seriously fucking heart disease? 9/11 is just like Pearl Harbor, we were fucking attacked and it was really sad to see people jumping from 100 story windows do you understand why this was sad now? Do you understand why this means shit to people? Pearl harbor was over 60 years ago and we still mourn those that died that day, so if you dont care about it thats fine but making it seem like it was just another day in the life is really fucking insulting, go home you uncouth fuck face.

Squips from the building, free falling, controlled demolition, claims of bombs heard in the building, slaps of the building structure, incomprehensible building 7 demolition collapse, Plane route to Pentagon, insurance taken out for world trade centre, etc. Before you jump bandwagon at me, read this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods You have to understand that US is a nation that has to have war one way or another to survive.
