Perhaps its still too bright for the dark seekers.

the virus is said to be airborne so that would explains it. 90% of ppl die due to the virus. 1% immune like will smith and the woman and the kid. The other 9 percent turn to zombies

This is retarded.
@Op:
Despite your dual spoiler attempt, I managed to click through them absent-mindedly while on the phone and spoiled it for myself.
This is gay >.<
I hate myself -_-;;

Oh yeah I have a question. (Don't know if it's been covered already.)
Okay so I seen this movie on opening day. I was greatly disappointed. I got home and was thinking about the movie... when it hit me. How in the hell did the woman the kid make it to the island exactly? Let alone leave it with a vehicle. The island was sealed off remember?
Anyways as for the movie... It was a recycled plot... It pretty much reminded me of 28 days/weeks later series. But shittier. The computer graphics were fucking bad. + Show Spoiler +They didn't explain why that one Infected guy was smarter then the rest...
It was just a bad movie in my books. Then again I would still have to say it was decent and worth seeing.

300 is like a 3 out 5 too
The movie completely went off from the book, which was disappointing to me. Not to mention the fact that the beginning was a GT500 commercial.

On December 18 2007 08:53 Krohm wrote:+ Show Spoiler +They didn't explain why that one Infected guy was smarter then the rest... + Show Spoiler + I think they were just trying to tie it in with the books telling of the story in which the darkseekers actually have their own society and Robert Neville is regarded as a legendary monster within that society who randomly kidnaps and kills them(like the boogie man sorta). However instead of actually going deeper into that plotline I guess they decided to just throw one somewhat civilized darkseeker into the story and call it a day.

I thought 300 was a piece of crap movie. I didn't expect it to be like that. I thought it was going to be like a serious movie. Instead it wasn't. It was a fantasy piece of crap. The battle scenes sucked completely. I don't know why people like it. 2/5.
But that's just me.

Departed got a 4 out of 5, and Transformers got a perfect 5?.....
I'm speechless.

The island wasn't completely sealed off. If it was then the outbreak would only be on that island. Like all movies involving zombie like monsters, the military quarantine always fail. As for Anna, I couldn't hear what she said, but it sounded like she said Maryland or Ireland. But yeah, I agree how the hell she get to the EXACT pier where Neville waits is weird. Hopefully they'll be a sequel or more extended footage when the DVD comes out. Also there's a comic strip about Ethan, the boy that was with Anna. http://iamlegend.warnerbros.com/ you can find it there.

You guys know that there are tunnels that go into new york city as well right? :p
+ Show Spoiler + And the reason they probably didn't go into the intelligence of the darkseekers (sp?) was probably because the film revolved around Neville's experience, and since he was trying to research and understand these people, there was not enough information to disclose about how they had a leader, or why they had some human-like characteristics despite the demented virus. They probably didn't want you to know more than Neville knew about these things, hence why it was never really released. A movie needs to be more straightforward than a book can be, don't forget. You could probably have gone on for about an hour just on the darkseekers and their way of life. Why did that one get leadership skills and why was it going against it's basic survival instincts to wreck havoc upon Neville's research. Do these things have feelings and should we care for them? It could have taken a whole day to discuss things in regards to the darkseekers. Production probably just felt it would be better to make them look completely inhuman and not allow any character growth for them. It's far cheaper to do that anyway, since we only really knew about a handful of characters (like... 5 maybe?)
EDIT: By the way I didn't post this before, but I give this movie a 3.5/5. It's good but not the best. I actually didn't get to see transformers yet, so I'm hoping to be impressed because EVERYONE says it's good. As for The Departed, I noticed it's on OnDemand so I'll probably watch it once finals are over =]

The departed was so lame at parts, they had to add their stupid hollywood romantic trio between the good the bad and the stupid bitch not to mention they like invented a whole new character just to have their stupid fucking hollywood ending, and they couldnt even change some of the fucking jokes
If you havent seen infernal affairs then i guess its not so bad, actings good at least.

6/10
NYC looked great but the animals/monsters didn't.
They have a three year timespan in which to make a prequel. That way you wouldn't have to deal with the crappy cookie cutter ending.

+ Show Spoiler +That is what I was thinking when I remember that Maryland is much closer to New York than Ireland. On Wikipedia, it said that she was on a medical ship from Brazil and the Infected invaded the ship and somehow she ended up in Maryland. And I know that Wikipedia can be wrong.
