i can sum it up quite quickly in the following spoiler + Show Spoiler + will smith last man alive, random flashbacks of before epidemic, family dies, he keeps dog. random exploration of city, catches a human subject, then the darkseekers do the same trap to him, dog + smith get attacked, dog kicks ass but is wounded, dog transforms, and the saddest thing i've seen in a movie since My Dog Skip occurs, smith has to choke out the beloved dog. I was feeling suicidal around this point. Then he goes on a suicide rampage and some chick finds him and saves him (how? who knows) and then they follow her back to his house and a bit of action ensues, they hide in the lab, he gives her the cure to spread + hide, he suicides with grenade to kill the baddies, girl gets to survivor colony, the end | ||

i think the saddest part of this whole thing was when his dog dead, because it was with will throughout the whole movie(up until he goes insane and shit that one night). all the flash backs had the dog in it, so i felt like the dog was more valuable than the wife/kid were. the dog was a trooper though, he took on those dogs like a champ. :D | ||
