Edit. found out they're religious give up now. Its a lost cause. Im 16 not christian and im forced to go to church. If i mention how im old enough to pick wheter i want to go to church or not my mom gets all mad and says she won't like make food. I dont even want to mention it in front of her cause i rather keep the peace i have right now. Oh yeah i have dad who doesn't let me play games even though i play when hes not home. Says um it will break the comp and its a waste of time. Its gets better when you talk to them. If all fails show them this thread. | ||

This may sound odd, but I'd recommend getting a job if you don't already. You'll find your parents have a lot less power over you when you can afford to do shit on your own. Also, definately get your own bank account, don't put your paychecks into an account your parents get the statement to. | ||

But my answer was a "no?", he opened a piece of paper my mom had put the leaves in it and asked me whats this. I replied I don't know (which wasn't too smart), he replied it was in your pocked. I said, "probably leaves from yesterday, I stole a flower and put it in my pocked". He then procceeded TO SMOKE THE LEAVES! I couldn't stop laughing he rolled it up just like a pro and light it up!! I asked him if his ever done that before, because he looked nostalgic to him. We then stepped into an awkward moment and I then went back up stairs and came back in 5 minutes or so. I asked him how the drugs were treating him, but he didn't reply. The entire day we didn't really talk, but things went back to normal the following day. And that was my parents tought I was on drugs story.  WOW. Just fucking WOW. I wouldn't let my parents live it down if they did that to me. | ||

I'm not arguing that point here... it's not about me. No way man, it's way harder to get full-time job in HS. You have flexible hours at a uni; HS you are locked into the 8-3 or whatever it is. Your choice of jobs is limited as well. With at least a hs degree and a major, a lot of jobs will hire you if you plan on entering that field. Skilled jobs are pretty much out the window as a high schooler. You can't bartend since you're not 18 and you can't even be a waiter because you have to be 18 just to handle liquor. Your best bet to make a livable wage would be working with your hands somewhere, but most jobs in that field cut out at 5ish, so once again, you're screwed. Plenty of people work full time and do school full time in university. It sucks quite a lot, but it is doable. HS, unless you were incredibly lucky and inherited a decent chunk of change, it's a long shot at best. | ||

Get that blood-test yourself. Call your friends over, have em hang out at your place. Always answer the cell when they call etc. If they can't start trusting you, they have some serious fucking problems. My mom and dad called me a lot when I went out in the beginning, but what the friggin fuck it was no where close to this. | ||
