You're kind of arguing with a strawman. Flynn's not going to be going "teeeechnically it wasn't treason" because he should never be given that out in the first place. The people saying "technically it's not treason" are the ones going after him, because if they put him in a position where he can say it they have massively bungled the case. | ||

The Washington Post leaks also described national security letters, secret subpoenas, against Trump campaign personnel. Just wiretaps on aides has turned into wiretaps, national security letters, and at least one informant in a counterintelligence investigation. This amount of covert surveillance is properly called spying and I don’t care which way you slice it. The IG report on the investigation of the Trump campaign must be fairly radical to have all these leaks try to spin it into something more tame. They spied on Trump and they better have more than what we know up to now to justify it. In 2015 the former head of US military intelligence has a private dinner with with Putin. That alone gets you investigated. Carter Page has been in the sights since 2013 when Russian communication mentioned he could possibly be turned. Papadopoulos came into sights when he blabbed off to an Australian ambassador that Russia had Hillary's emails. Foreign intelligence agencies caught communications between Trump associates and Russia back in 2015. I draw parallels to Berlusconi's allegations that the police was wire-tapping him when instead he was repeatedly calling known mafia figures who were under surveillance. If you repeatedly hang out with 'people of interest' your going to get yourself investigated. The start of the investigation into the people around Trump is firmly rooted in counter-intelligence and not political espionage. | ||

Kardashian West has said she supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, but her husband, Kanye West, has signaled his support for Trump. In 2016, West met with the President-elect at Trump Tower in New York. And last month, after releasing a photograph wearing a "Make America Great Again" cap, West released a song defending his praise of the President. Kardashian West's White House visit was earlier reported by Vanity Fair. Turns out that when Trump said he'd make a deal with Kim, he wasn't talking about Jong-un. It's also fair to presume that this often manifests in less dramatic/tragic ways than mass shootings. Outcast cliques (namely white supremacist groups) are scooping these people up wherever they can and they are being emboldened everywhere, all the way up to the President. | ||
