edit- actually it was a different game with the same premise but it was more cartoony looking and there was boss monsters you had to fight away with fighter fish you had to raise, etc. | ||

One of my fishes is bigger now and i'd like to do something with it. What are the best options, sell it? Or leave it in the tank to breed, does it? Trouble with flash games is that understanding the balance of the game takes 90% of the time after which the game isn't fun anymore... Lol they're pregnant now...this is going to take ages. | ||

Eager to try the game since it looked like it was put together well and I could run it in the background while I performed other tasks, I began breeding my fish in a clumsy fashion. 90% of the combinations I tried resulted in dead and dying baby fish so I looked around to find out what the problem was. "Oh, I need to get an environmental upgrade for my fishie's tank." I thought. "Whoa, it's $450, and I've already spent a large portion of my starting cash on overpriced medicine for my sick fish... oh well, I'll just breed my most expensive fish exclusively, sell them all until I have the money, then buy the upgrade and THEN save up for some more fish eggs so I can try breeding fishies that don't die. Sounds like a plan!" Long story, short: I spent the better part of a day painstakingly raising and selling $10 fish to save up enough money to buy the first environmental upgrade so that any rarer fish I bred would stop dying shortly after I made them... and guess what? That "feature" isn't part of the online version, no sir, pls buy the desktop version. That's right, the object of the online version of FishTycoon appears to be to anger random internet-geeks. Perhaps in an effort to goad them into paying $20 to have a chance in hell of saving the lives of miniature pixelated fish-type-things. Well, fuck that....  XIII | ||
