I KNOW! Sexy isn't it? I actually have an SJ Sharkie doll in the back seat but I don't think it's visible in the picture.

Oh goody... a car thread... I'm actually at Circuit City getting my sound system installed right now. Been waiting for 5 hours >_< but I'm not worried cause it's going to look sweet. Tomorrow, I get tints, and next week, I'm dropping a new engine and turbo-kit.
It's not really going to look flashy because it's a sleeper... but it's an '06 Honda Accord. I'll post pics whenever I can.

I know... but noone expects a four dour accord without a V6 logo on the back to beat a BMW or even a Corvette. After I'm done with it though... it will.
Besides, for right now, it's giving me what I need: Good gas mileage (traveling alot) and lots of space. My dad wanted to buy me a G35, but there's not much you can do with that car. I'm not all about cars that look fast but aren't. That's why I like to make sleepers. My last car was a '93 Lincoln Continental. The "word" custom doesn't even come close to describing this car, so to describe what it had will take forever. Just one thing I will say though is that I dropped a Stingray engine in it. For anyone who knows anything about cars, dropping an engine not built for a car is like redo-ing the whole car again.
I would post pics of it... but I deleted them all. The transmission died on me last summer on the way back home from college and even though I had it rebuilt twice and replaced once, it wasn't the same. I deleted all the pics because thinking about sweet Nancy just makes me want to cry :-/

^Not my pic, nor my rims, but same model/color. I just love how the shot came out.

Not mine, but same thing.

I wonder how many people in here actually bought their own cars?
I remember my first car - old beater that I worked three different jobs to pay for (plus of course the 2500 dollar annual insurance payment associated with being a 16 year old male driver). Finally recently, after finishing school forever I can afford to treat myself to something new and nice.
Really though, some of what's in here reads more like a "Post how rich your dad is!" thread =p

My dad bought my last car... but I'm paying for my current one.

i think i would much rather do shit to a civic instead of an accord... =P

I would get a g35 over an accord any day.. g35s are so sexy. But then again its all about preference and everyone has their own opinion.

This things got a V-6 in it and can beat quite a few 4 bangers. Fits alot of things/people too.

You guys wouldn't understand unless you knew a little bit about car tuning.
Accord = Lots of potential... G35 = Little potential...
G35 beats out Accord initially in style and speed... but not once you start tuning. Putting turbo into an Accord will make it about as fast as a G35. Drop a bigger engine, carbon fiber parts, cold air intakes, etc. and you're looking at an easy 4sec 0-60 car. Accord also has initially better gas mileage and more room. G35 has "luxury" features but most of the stuff I've put into my Accord has already trumped those features. Like I said, I'm not into cars that look fast but aren't and basically, aftermarkets > factory parts.
I guarantee you when my car is done, you'll rather have it over a G35. It'll not only look classy (without all the gawdy "look at me... I installed huge spoilers but I don't know what they do" crap), but it'll be fast. I just got back home from Circuit City and as soon as I finish everything, I'll post pics.
EDIT: Also Accord > Civic cause it can take a V6 engine. Civic needs alot more customization therefore more cash to take a V6. Also, Civic is smaller therefore less room... but there's virtually little weight difference between the two. The weight is in the extra stuff (seats, doors, etc.)... not in the car frame.
