chrono cross is an amazing game, but better than early WoW? i dunno.. but if you take later WoW into account, CC destroys it. why is BoI rebirth on there? the original is better.. also where's FTL... this list seems really weird

Gets beaten by some mediocre Final Fantasy. -.- While Smash Bros is a great game, Portal was a (although a small, but nontheless) revolution in gamedesign (and storytelling somehow ![]() I don't think i have to say anything about Planescape Torment. That's a no brainer. xD GoldenEye is fun, but Diablo II ... i mean it's considered the best game Blizzard ever made by a lot of people for a reason, right? Just the impact WoW had on the gaming world makes it win there. Bioshock Infinite's fantastic story makes this a no brainer as well. That's all just my opinion of course. I really like these strange outcomes. Makes you think about how the gaming world and gamer society changes over the years.

Banjo Kazooie depends on which genre you prefer and Chrono Cross depends on the version of WoW. Those three I can agree with. But apart from that...(+ I don't care about the last one).

I am just going to comment on these two. WoW did nothing new. It was an iterating MMO that happened to hit a good timing and got biggest due to it. Something like Everquest or Ultima online has had more impact on game development. Bioshock Infinite was a good game. I wouldn't recommend it for over $5 personally though. The combat system was pretty bad, the special abilities tacked on and the story wasn't as good for me as you make it sound. It was fun for playing through once and then more or less forget about. (I think that way about most FPS games.)

Metroid Prime is a really really really good game and IMO, the best Metroid. Half Life 2 is obviously top-notch too but if it's gonna lose, I think Metroid Prime is a fine game to lose to

I have seen some speedruns and it seems later in the game, the fighting gets actually kinda fun/challenging... But the first few hours (made it till the icegolemthing, then stopped) it just bored me. I really liked HL2 and i'm normally not an SP-FPS/Egoshooter guy, that game had just brilliant pacing and some really cool sections (go my little insects, gooo :D)

Behind Broodwar, Metroid prime was probably my favorite game of all time... but then I've never played halflife, although I'm aware of how impactful it was. This shouldn't have been a shocking loss no matter which way it went - just two games that were both great in different ways running into each other too early. Such is bracketology.
