All the Undertale community has achieved with this 'vote' is make everyone hate the game and think that their whole community is made up of the most obnoxious kinds of tumbler snowflakes

Well, like you said, you're getting older. You think the only things worth doing in life are 'fulfilling' by some arbitrary definition of the word while teenagers are still trying to get a handle on their serotonin and dopamine levels.
Maybe it's because I grew up as one of those 'for teh lulzzz' type of kids but isn't your belittling of their idea of fun just as childish? You project the idea that the only thing they must get out of it is some sense of intellectual superiority immediately after you say you don't understand the fulfillment they get from it. Either way it's certainly naive of you to assume that the people voting for the reactions of others are all minors.
