Good post, only skimmed it so far. I usually just imagine the numbers in my head(2x2 and 3x2) and go from there. Given, I don't do this much these days since I usually have a calculator around and the math isn't that simple anymore lol.

I do this all the time! I think it is really cool to show off. It takes me slightly longer to do multiplication though (like 10-15 seconds depending how many digits there are) and division is even worse (doing estimates is substantially faster then finding the exact number though).

Anything past 4 digits though...just is not relevant to me. Maybe when I start dealing with 10s of thousands in money I will pick it up,
