Well what you need to do is hit the tree without slowing down. Most crashes are anticipated and people hit the breaks and slow down, that just looks like he slammed right into it without much slowing down. | ||

Or the speed was so great that it hit the tree at a high speed even after slowing down. It is also possible to crash in such a way that the car almost doesn't lose speed in the duration of the crash. Going airborn for example(hitting the curb or a speedbump can do that do you). You also lose a lot less speed going sideways than if you block the wheels heading straight forward. Not to mention weather (looks sunny in the photos tho). And then once you leave the tarmac, you lose all chance of slowing down without hitting something completely. We can only speculate. For all we know the driver could have gotten a stroke. We have no idea what happened at this point except the outcome of it  | ||

It angers me that some are putting the blame on Roger Rodas (driver). Yes, he was the driver, but still... Some of the things I've read is just so insulting. | ||

Paul Walker’s tragic death left the world heartbroken on Nov. 30. The 40-year-old ‘Fast & Furious’ actor died in a car crash in Santa Clarita after leaving a charity event. We had fallen in love with his character, Brian O’Conner, and now know that the cast and crew plan to pay a special tribute to Paul in the next film. Fast & Furious 7 is currently in the process of filming, but after Paul Walker‘s shocking death, many were left wondering how the franchise would move forward. The driver of the car lost control, crashing into a tree, causing the car to burst into flames.
