Holy crap, no. If idiots use public roads as race tracks, they cost peoples lives. No one is responsible for their actions but themselves (unless they're not adults, then their parents are responsible as well.)

This is so ironic and sad. I really liked the guy. He was kinda cute. <3

I was driving a car on the day he died, and whilst doing that I saw a tree. The irony left me speechless.

So are people just trolling now with the "how ironic". Its kinda becoming a meme, seeing it everywhere now >__>
That being said, I hated his movies, but I feel sad for his family and friends.

At least he didn't win a lottery the day before he died.

Yep, just leave them to their own thing. :V As for the other person right above me, why would you say something like that? He was already pretty rich. Heck, he put another couple's $10,000 engagement ring on his tab anonymously. Not many people do that. :V

Because its one if many things god herself sings about finding it ironic.

if it was on tv, i'm sure there were hundreds of thousands who watched it, and then there are people who might have rented the movie or downloaded it on same day. not the least bit creepy actually.

I don't want to be a bummer here, it seems like Paul Walker was a great guy and whatnot, but we're talking about a guy who bought a fancy ring here.
Now I recognize that it seems nice, but as far as I'm concerned, this story annoys the fuck out of me. "He was a soldier who's back from Iraq" which, sigh, fine. And then he buys a $10k ring. Gotta get dem blood diamonds going. Plus now the guy didn't even earn the ring, he just gave a worthless piece of rare materials that he got for free...
This anecdote pales in comparison to basically everything else that people are saying about him. Hopefully fancy jewelry isn't what people are going to remember.

Unfortunately the women I know remember such gifts. Women and their diamonds. I just see this as a little anecdote and he wanted to give a helping hand. It's a nice gesture.

Since the death, a leaked footage of F&F 7's funeral scene surfaced. Eerie...

IN A spooky development, footage of Paul Walker attending a funeral in the upcoming installment of The Fast and The Furious 7 has been leaked around the time of his death. The footage shows Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, attending the funeral of Han and Gisele, who died at the end of the sixth film.
But what is sure to have hearts racing at Universal Pictures is a conversation between O'Conner and Tyrese Gibson's character, Roman Pierce. "Promise me Brian, no more funerals," says Gibson. "Just one more"," Walker says.
The conversation is in reference to Jason Statham's character Ian Shaw, who was introduced in the sixth installment and set-up as the villain for the upcoming movie.

Don't see how thats eerie. Everyone is glaring at the bad guy in the scene. Connor(Paul) even follows up with "his", while nodding at the bad guy.

the timing is impeccable and completely obfuscates this story: http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2013/11/holder-seeks-fast-and-furious-appeal-177665.html] http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2013/11/holder-seeks-fast-and-furious-appeal-177665.html[/url]
Excerpt: Attorney General Eric Holder has moved to appeal a judge's ruling allowing the House of Representatives to continue with a contempt case stemming from his refusal to turn over documents related to the Justice Department's response to the Operation Fast and Furious gunwalking controversy. In a motion filed Friday night, the Justice Department asked U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson to allow it to take an appeal now in the lawsuit stemming from President Barack Obama's decision to invoke executive privilege and the House's subsequent votes last year holding Holder in contempt. The Obama administration urged Jackson to throw out the case on the grounds that the courts could not or should not resolve such disputes between the executive and legislative branches. But in a September ruling, the judge--an Obama appointee--rejected that position. The new motion (posted here) asks Jackson to allow the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to weigh in on that question before the case continues. "Absent settlement (which depends on the willingness of both parties to achieve a negotiated resolution), or an immediate appeal, this Court will proceed toward deciding the scope of the President's assertion of Executive Privilege in response to a congressional demand, and will do so absent a definitive ruling from the Circuit that such a novel judicial inquiry, in a suit instituted by a Committee of Congress, is appropriate under the law, including the Constitution," the DOJ motion argues.
Coincidence? governments involved in the illegal gun trade and drug smuggling with mexico, dont think killing someone is beneath them if it provides the perfect cover for the recent legal revelations. That is the reason the movie series was named what it was in the first place, the timing is perfect.

Yes, obviously they're all referring to Statham's character, but some just find it weird that the line came out of Paul Walker's mouth and it being a funeral scene.

RIP. It's not even somewhat ironic. My thoughts: Wow, what a weird coincidence that he would be in a series of movies with fast cars, explosions, and of course, exploding cars, and then die in a car explosion.
But, would you concede that it was ironic that the car crash into a speed limit sign ?

Ok shit I'm tired of that. Ok, he died, that's sad and all, we can mourn, but why is it like the most published and shared event everywhere for like the last 5 years ? Complete with wars, catastrophies, genocides, elections etc... Aren't there more important things happening for these years ?
I don't want to be disrespectful but he's "just" a hollywood actor from action movies... Worst is they are still gonna get that movie out, which I find really disrespectful. Making money on dead people isn't a hommage, it's an outrage. And it's gonna sell a awful lot mostly because he's dead.
