Pretty much. They don’t want to approve of the current Brexit Plan, but also don’t want to trigger a general election because they might lose. The master plan seems to be to wait until the wheels come off and then blame someone. It is sort of impressive how badly this is going. Because no one really knows exactly what hard Brexit will look like, the lack of context doesn’t fill the public with the concern it should. And when it comes and it isn’t the stock market crash right before the Great Depression, people jump to say that pro-EU folks were being hysterical about Brexit. A slow, rotting economy due to government incompetence and inaction is the part of the Great Depression people forget about. That after the crash it took more than a decade to get the economy moving again.

Because the country needs to find a constructive way through some very difficult negotiations, and if Corbyn refuses to play a part in that while voting against anything that is put to Parliament, he is equally as responsible for the failure as May is.

Its the wonderfull game of Why would he need to talk to her over Brexit, isn't her party the one in charge of negotiations? "This isn't good enough" "What would you do?" "Not a clue but I'm going to keep saying whatever you do is wrong ".

He seems oblivious to the fact that the future was about month ago, he's run out of time and still delaying. edit: for info, I am a Labour voter and a Corbyn supporter, but he has burned almost all of his good will with me over Brexit.

Who knows what Jeremy Corbyn is actually thinking or what his plan is. I thought his plan was just to force a hard brexit and then get into power by letting the Conservatives take the blame, but now it looks like his plan was just to deny the deal so he can call a vote of no confidence and get into power that way. Which obviously didn't work out the way he wanted it to. Then again maybe he just doesn't have a plan at all. It was a publicity stunt. He isn't stupid enough to want power 2 months before a seemingly unavoidable disaster.
