I feel like Australia is thoroughly over-represented, which suits me fine. I'm getting about one Aussie screen per set, and keep going "That really looks like a gumtree. Surely not... again?" I had one that was literally a couple blocks from a place we go on holiday every year. Got it to within like 20m.

Personally, I'm hating on Canada/Alaska right now. I can work out I'm up there somewhere, but because I click the wrong end of the endless wilderness I still get like 1000 points. I guess everyone else feels that way about Australia. Also, freaking Brazil and Mexico. Every single time, whichever it is, I pick the other. Every. Damn. Time.

I've decided not to google stuff, and to give myself a maximum of 5 steps down the street. More fun that way.

Only had Australia once so far and it was a totally random place in the middle of nowhere. Luckily I kinda guessed by the vegetation where it was and was really close. Totally the game for me, love it

Big geo nerd and traveller!!
Russia totally messes me up though.

Holy shit, i just got some random place near lake and there was a sign in something seemed swedish or similar language. I clicked a random place in Sweden and i was 0,9km away from the target. Also i got a starting point with a diection sign saying Dildo.

Got 12.5k, though I did have to walk around quite a bit. Got kinda unlucky too. I got a coastal town somewhere in the UK. Guessed Scotland, because there were some hills around, turned out it was Torquay. FML. Guessed Transilvania (Western Romania) correctly based on architecture and terrain alone, so that was pretty cool.

Next time I'll play with a 5 minute timer.

20170 without external aid. It's easy when the location is right in front of a federal post office in the US. Had to work harder for the one in Finland, though, but managed to land the guess 10 meters from the target.

Remember Everyone, there are HUGE amounts of earth that Google Street View hasn't hit... expecially Africa, (minus south), basicially ALL OF MAINLAND ASIA, and good chunks of south america. (although Brazil is pretty covered). once I found this out, I started getting MUCH higher average scores.

mm i just found a wrong caption, it was clearly somewhere in Argentina, but it showed Brazil thousands of miles away. im quite sure, they where lots of signs and shops, all in spanish, even signs that i know for a fact that belong to Argentina cuz its where i live
