Anyway I don't really understand the point of that. If I want to watch basketball, I watch basketball. And if I want to watch boobs, guess what? This is the freaking internet.
Nowadays?
I'm sorry, but when were people not willing to do anything for money?
League itself is a pretty meh idea. I doubt it will gain too much traction.

Boobs and basketball seems like a good combo but so is anything+boobs lol. If the girls are willing to do it and there is a market for it how can anyone say they shouldn't? OMG ITS SO SEXUAL... It's just bikinis you can go to the beach and see hundreds of girls in bikinis. Womens volleyball is also played in bikinis and no one cares but they don't play up the sexuality for more viewers. Think you are thinking of beach volleyball. Regular volleyball the teams wear shorts and shirt. Wear shorts that barely cover their own asses. Honestly do you people think this is supposed to be legitimate? Of course it's a cheap cop out. That's the point. Like the XFL. It won't last. it'll be funny to watch for a season or two then it will fade away. If the women are willing to do it why the hell should anyone else care?
My thinking with the shorts was always, shorter for better movement. Why don't guys where them? Well guys have penises and we've all been there. That's why men's basketball featuring black males requires such long shorts.
Don't know, it just seems that society is going down this hyper sexualization of everything from volleyball to coffee and while I hate to sound like one of "those people" it is having an negative effect on us. Through desensitization and unrealistic expectations of what relationships / sex are.

Lmao this is stupid... I would never spend money on this

I just feel bad for the women who actually pour their heart and sole into WNBA if they get sidelined for this
Imagine a comparison to our eSports... Here we are hoping and dreaming of esports becoming an accepted part of modern culture and we're finally seeing what we consider progress even though the main stream media has hardly taken note. Then imagine if some execs at MTV heard about it, looked into it, decided they thought it was stupid but they could make some quick cash out of it by doing a short series drawing attention to it. But what they create is a reality tv show where they get a bunch of booth babe models to play sc2, CS, etc and 90% of the show is about showing off how hot the chicks are and since they aren't actually pro players no one new who looks at the show actually thinks the games were actually anything serious.
Would certainly get more views/advertiser interest/attention than televising a tournament or a documentary about a guy like Naniwa or Huk moving to Korea and all the trials and tribulations they go through trying to make it in the GSL.

This sets feminism behind by 2 years. At least all the athletes are now entitled to have free birth control.

Firms which do not profitably serve the needs/wants of consumers are destined to go bankrupt, thus freeing up the resources (capital, equipment, labor) to be invested in other things. Maybe if what you're saying is true, then Huk or Naniwa will become computer engineers, pharmacists, or realtors. How can Huk or Naniwa support a family someday unless they marry a rich bitch?

More sexism. It will never stop, ever.

It'll be a lot better than the WNBA.

Wow so much hate! personally I would love to see bikini dodgeball instead though, not because it requires more jumping, but it feels more intense and more suitable for bikini imo

Fucking silly. Also a liberal use of the word 'hater' to describe anyone who happens to see this as idiotic. Oh well, good luck to them I suppose, no skin off my back.
The word hater should be outright banned from useage again by any human

This is one of those thing that I can't help but ask, "Who cares?"
There are tons of forms of entertainment that I find stupid. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Simple, no?
