3/5/12 we already knew about in London? Or is that just what the trailer is confirming?

It's an iPhone so I assume you're being ironic. It will have a tiny interative change and a few features it should have had since day one. And will cost £600.

With the release of this, I hope the price of the S2 will drop quite a bit eventually. The reason for me not wanting the S3 is that it'll probably have lousy battery life. Galaxy Nexus is cheaper than the SGS2 and is certainly the better long term solution cause it will be always the first to get any updates. I think the only reason S2 is still so expensive is the huge demand for it. Only area SGS2 is better than the Nexus is the camera.

I'm pretty sure they're going to do some major overhaul on the phone. People are realizing that the iphone is the same garbage every year and just prefer to stick with the current ones they have. I still have an iPhone 4. And this is my first iPhone ever. They hyped up the five so much and came out with a 4s? Trust me, plenty of people were upset and they're going to win back their customer base some how. I'm sure there will be system/hardware upgrades and design change for a fact. What they will add to the phone to make it revolutionary, nobody will know.

They haven't said shit about the iphone 5 in typical apple fashion, they let the fanboys run the rumor mill.

It may grab updates first, but that is really the only benefit that the Galaxy Nexus has over the S2. I had to make a similar decision back in February and chose the S2 in the end because it's just better than the Nexus in every other way. The Nexus doesn't even have an external SD card slot. Although I will be watching the S3 closely I don't think it will make me dissatisfied at all with my S2 if it is simply slightly faster/shinier. The S2 is still incredibly amazing and by no means out-of-date, and unless the S3 incorporates some sort of brand new never-seen-before technology, the S2 will stay relevant for quite a while longer.

Like, as soon as they announce it does it go on sale or do I have to wait a few weeks for an official release date? It's going to be a few weeks / months before you can order the phone, like with most Android phones. A carrier will usually have exclusivity on the original variant and than dozens of other variants will appear when exclusivity expires.
