Someone mentioned Quad Core improving battery performance? For some reason I thought it would eat up more battery power; that in combination with LTE (if it has it).. and a larger screen.. and maybe better display..
I just don't see how this phone is gonna have a good battery life. Like I'm not hating on Samsung; I mean for ANY company to provide those kinda features..
The current phones out on the market already have pretty lame battery life. That goes for iPhone, S2 and Nexus.. so many complaints about battery with just a couple of google searches.
Unless they tripled the size of the battery; I am predicting a lot of battery draining issues.. (That is if these new phones do have the features that they are rumoured to have)

Ok, if you don't know what you're talking about, then don't. Core utilization has nothing to do with being a phone, a tablet or a desktop. It has all to do with programming, if the OS or an app is programmed to utilize more than 1 core then it will, phone or no. Guess i miss interperated what he said, but what is right is that Quad-Core and Dual-Core are pretty wasteful in mobile phones. Mr Nokia man backs up the thesis. http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/quad-core-phones-just-waste-your-battery-says-nokia-50007625/ Nokia is desperate they'll say anything to try to dig themselves out of the hole (just give up it's not gonna happen).
Quad Core use less power and has better processing power then a Dual Core. I don't know what you're on about.
Besides it's the wifi/screen that uses all the power not the cpu.
meh i'll stick to my 2y old Desire. don't need more bling.

Lots of people say Android phones are better because of hardware specs (and the OS) but when I played with my friends Galaxy S2 for awhile that shit felt laggy and nasty at times compared to iOS. I can't wait to see what the S3 is about, but I'm way more excited for an iphone5 reveal.

Please note how much better behaved Apple users are!

I have an s2 myself, proud owner and custom.ROM flashholic. really excited to see what the s3 will look like, even though I'm not going to change phones anytime soon, and I know that the phone will be getting raped by touchwiz.

(That is if these new phones do have the features that they are rumoured to have) think of it as a different cpu level will turn on the different cores. But LTE, larger screen will certain eat up more battery, doesn't make quad core not improving the battery performance though.
But yea, most phones nowadays have really poor battery performance, which is why I bought a separate portable battery charger

hahah its just this mobile-based photo sharing app, which also provides hipster fancy schmancy 'retro' filters and stuff like that. basically Twitter on mobile and only for sharing photos. started off on iOS, then recently ported over to Android, then lots of iRage commenced . i'm sure those hateful tweets were only from immature users anyway, lol
